You're right - what I should have stated is that I have no way of giving my plants nitrogen through their leaves. You can't just dilute the average fertilizer and spray it on leaves, fish emulsion shouldn't work either. If I had some agae or lichen tea to spray the leaves of my plant with perhaps they might absorb a small but helpful amount, but alas I have no algae tea. I have no good source of soluble nitrate and the ammonium I have would most likely burn the leaves. My first statement was meant to convey that adding fertilizer to my clones would not be advantageous - I believe you would agree. My response back to you, which i'm sure made me look a bit foolish, was brief and poorly stated as I was aggitaded at your unecessary and poorly written comment. And as you might stab back at this I should clarify that by "poorly written" I do not mean spelling and gramatical errors (you should be able to find many of those within my posts) but instead that your post was unhelpful, uninformative, and seemed to be a bit malicious.

But then it sounds like you're trying to pick a fight over what I stated versus what I meant so you should probably disregard this. And yes my degree was in science however I focused on the animals versus plants so I'm no botonist or horticulture expert unless you are talking about olives. Pretty sure I have a decent grasp on my nitrogen cycle though...

Lookin good tanker, youre whole thread is really comming together. Few seperate grows, multiple ways of doing certain things. Five star all the way!

I pulled the plug on my girls yesterday. They were all dying and I have new plans for a grow in mind anyhow. I am getting a fridge that my buddy used for growing a while back. Im pickin it up this weekend, it already has holes for ventilation any everything.

Ill post a link to my new thread in my old one once I get it up and running. meanwhile I hope everything is well and grats on all the fat buds youve already harvested & enjoyed!!

Sad to hear about your plants. Wonder what went wrong. Will be cool to have the fridge set-up though! A buddie of mine saw my CFL buds and wants to sponsor me - has a house in mind and everything. Supposedly this house is on several acres and butts up against national forest...fing crazy. Have started to put together a massive shopping list - will post a new thread if this happens and will be tuned in for your new thread.

Thanks! I've had great luck cloning so if you have any troubles feel free to ask for help.

Took my tall plant out of the back this morning to check its trichs - they were looking good, all cloudy. Was going to leave the plant till it turned mostly amber to see the difference but while putting it back I broke its neck for the second time so i cut the top off - will let the rest keep going.

The short busy plant is looking good. Purpling up a lil and trichs are starting to show amber. Going to let this one go alil longer also looking for that couch lock. (If it survives tomorrow - I might just have to cut in the sake of 420 )

Clones are taking off. The one I LST is shooting skywards.

the one on the far right, is that the LST one as well. did you top it as well?

Those are pink pistils - pretty pink lady. Go back a few pages and there are some good close-ups of her. The LST one is the one on the far right like you said. I accidentally topped her after I had pretty much finished the LST. Thanks!

I currently have 4 in the flower room that sprouted on Feb 9 also. I topped above the 4th node for 8 tops, vegged for 45 days and are now on day 25 of flower. Starting to build bud fast now.
660w of cfl and 4' tubes.

U can go to walmart and get some worm casting spray to spray your leaves...or a bottle of canada dry will work the same way..
vinger and baking soda.altho a lil messy..all
are a co2 sub.

Ya, i'm brewing molassas rotgut in my space for C02. Just need to rig up a still once it's done If you read about a moron blowing up his appartment building that just might be me.

The old sugar and yeast trick. As the yeast ferments the sugars they release C02 and after they have converted all the sugars to alcohol you can drink the concoction if you dare I'de like to rig up a small still and refine the stuff - Boil the alchohol out of the water and collect. If it's going to taste like shit (and it prolly will) then it might at least get the job done.

Haha you crazy ghetto moonshine SOB. Growing dank buds just isnt enough for ya eh> Haha jk man that sounds very interesting, a couple buddies of mine will be very interested to hear about this lol.

So i've been barely employed for the past several months living mostly off savings and kicking myself in the ass for it. Just submitted my rental application for a house out in the boons and plan on blowing 100% of my savings to get it set-up and producing asap - I have 4 months to have my first crop in. Just a bit risky but with the economy as it is might just be my best bet.

So far i've collected 6 caregiver rights but i'm hoping to increase that drasticly. The first room I'm setting up is 8x8 and i'll be cramming 4 1000w lights in it vented with 3 500CFM fans through a carbon filter... Purchasing C02, heat humid controler that will be hooked to dehumidifier and AC - C02 to come later (i have the tank already but no flow gauge/moderator).

More details to come - wish I could post a spread sheet so someone could comment on my price list and yield estimates.

Here is what is going on with my current plants - my pink lady is taking FOREVER! She is just putting up new foxtails. All trichs are cloudy but really wanted some amber on this one. Rest of my plants are looking great! The tri-nodal one is trichy as hell and growing into one fat cola. The LST plant is going to have a buncha nice big colas as well - pretty tight bud spacing and really strong shoots. The biggest plant with the polyploid top is all over the place - really spaced out and bushy with some big budsites, some medium, and the top cola which is looking pretty impressive so far. The clones I rooted in 12/12 have been cut. I got several shoestring buds, a couple really nice big ones and a ton of really good trim - all the vegetation had trichs due to the 12/12 reveg. The dark waxy looking plant got booted outside - found a singe pair of balls but not risking it knowing the seeds came from a hermy. Here are a few pics - included are some shitake mushrooms that i harvested on 420 as well as some grow room friends

how long did it take to show sex? i've been flowering for about 8-9 days now and still haven't seen anything.

you should start to see signs of sex,within two weeks....if not,just be patient,it will come..some take longer than others..
