Day 3 Lights-24/0

Hey everyone! So as you can tell I'm brand new on posting, but not too new to the site. I've been reading everyones journals and what not trying to do this the right way, so hopefully I am :p

These seeds were a couple of many :finger: that I found in one of my sacks. So I decided to plant them. UPDATE - Supposedly these are some chemDog Seeds, or however you spell it.

So far they are growing, but I am unsure if they are growing the correct way.

I planted them in fox farm soil (picked it up at my local hydro store), and I got mylar all around the inside(Yes I'm growing under my sink hah, I hope it will be good enough for now)

Here are the pics.

I'm curious as to why one is forming a U, as if it is top heavy or something.

Also you will notice I moved the lighting. I wasn't sure how far to keep it. Is it at a good level guys, and girls?

Any feedback/ comments/ tips/ suggestions is welcomed :D

I am also gettin a pH tester kit soon.

those things are new so they are just popping out of the ground, no big deal

They should straighten out in a few days and start heading to the light and standing up right

That light will be good for a few weeks but you are going to need something more heavy duty to get them to flower

But you are still at a month or so a way so start saving

Haha! Thanks so much guys for the quickness. Ya I figured I'd need a new light or setup. I'm thinkin of getting a growbox/zipper thing for the flowering room. Anyone have good experience with those?

Thanks again!

Welcome Hex. What is the wattage and spectrum of the bulb you're using? During the veg stage you want to run 6500K bulbs with atleast 50 actual watts per sq ft, the more wattage you can put in there without having heat issues the better.

It will grow out of that. I have a plant that leaned over for the first few weeks. It now stands straight up.

Keep the bulb about 5 inches away from the sprouts until they get about the size of the sprout in the pic above, then move the light within 1-2 inches of the top of the plants.

:peace: OUT!

Thanks JRP, I believe the wattage is 75, or 120. I can try and find it real quick, I had a friend who is a grower help me pick it out, so I trust that its good. I got it from ace hardware. And I just adjusted the lights to 5" above. Thanks so much!

Money should be fine (hopefully) for right now, thank you unemployment! haha

Still on a 24/0 Light Schedule.

One girl seems to have a seed still attached, I'm scared to pull it :X

Alrighty, Just got back from LA for labor day weekend.

So I still have them on a 24/0 light schedule, is that ok for the size they are now?

I am also waiting on next paycheck to buy the new light and stuff for the flowering phase.

I believe I will be gettin an hps, not sure yet though.

Or does anyone have any suggestions? ;-)

For your viewing pleasure :}

So soon I will be running out of space as it is under my sink. Any opinions or comments about grow tents? I'm thinking of puttin it on my closet, or somewhere around there. I'd like it to be like 3'x3'x5 1/2' or something

Is there a do it your self tent setup? lol. I'm also worried about heat when I get my bigger light, for example if I get that $200 set there, how much electricity is added to the bill, and fire/hazard safety issues? I work 9-6, So I tend them when I can before work and after.

Thanks Lothy :] I was so anxious to just get it setup, plus its shiny like a future grow box or something haha.
