First grow! Come check it out! (pics)

haha im not in a hurry to see buds! i just wanna know if theres a way i can tell if my plant is a male without having to flower the big bitch. what if i clone them. and force them to flower?? how early can i clone ?

I would not clone until they have 6 nodes. Then you can force the clone to flower. That will take several weeks as it has to root first. So you see you are a good 6 weeks from that method showing sex anyway. Again, you can't rush Mother Nature.

Yes you can clone to determine the sex. Here's a good video of "Mr. Green" discussing the very topic.

*Note here that it will take time, by the time your clones are rooted and under a 12/12 light cycle showing their sex; your plants may already be pre-flowering or large enough for you to inducing the flowering cycle. It all comes down to the strain and how long you want to veg your plants.
Basically there is no way for you to know what the sex of a plant will be growing from seed. But by taking clones from all your plants before you flower them you can determine which ones are female and then develop a mother plant who's clones will always give you female plants.

Hope that helps.:-P

PIcs from today :)
lights are arranged like that just for the picture

The plants likely have not stopped growing. They are developing roots so no growth is visible. Just keep lovin them right and they will soon catch up to themselves.

so i just checked on my seedlings...wow. will they recover?

They should be fine, just make sure they are getting enough light. Move those CFL's as close as you can (1-2 inches above plants).
I can't tell by the picture but they look over watered. Little seedlings shouldn't be soaked in water so go easy on 'em. Water them lightly only when the soil becomes dry to the touch.

isnt 1-2 inches to close for little seedlings? thats why they look like that....cuz the bulbs were touching them . burned em

HMMM I don't think the light did that. I think it was the watering. At that age I would only give them about a shot glas of water every other day right around the stem. JMHO

Well, you definitely don't want the bulbs to touch, that's no good like you mentioned it will burn the poor little guys. But 1-2 inches away shouldn't give you any trouble. Just find that happy medium between light and heat intensity. The one good thing about CFL's is they don't put out a ton of heat, so keep them as close as possible to utilize their light.
Other than that listen to what "bkbbudz" said about watering and those seedlings should perk up immensely.

another update. took these about five minutes ago. why do they look so droopy and sad :(

hey man, a quick suggestion. your over watering them, dont water them for a few days the droop will go away

you need to have patience with this, if you dont your going to fail, no pun intended.

in my opinion you germinated way too many seeds 15 is alot for a beginer grower but it will thin out after you seperate males, where your growing under 1 600w i would do some research on LST (low stress training) it will help you utilize your light better especially if you have a high outcome of females.

again stop watering untill the soil is dry. another week you will be ready for transplant, since you have so many your not going to want to put them in final containers yet, i suggest some 1 gallon pots for now these should gte you to pre flower stage where you can thin out males and get the remaoining females into a 3 gallon pot to finish out the grow. other than that they seem to be doing fine man, just be patient and you will have some nice budz in the end. ill sub up and help out along the way.

oh and PS dont mide the faggot haters like Ryan he is just mad because 11 year olds can grow due to thier mommy catching them...

The truth hurts bro, look at thos pics and you were asking for advice you should have specifed only positive comments in the original post...

giving bad advice is giving bad advice, and your advice was bad. It was also rude as hell, theres no reason why this guy cant have a sucessfull grow so keep you dick head comments to yourself.

furthermore looking at your profile i can see your just a ignorant piece of shit, go troll elswhere. We are all here to help fellow growers have a sucesfull grow not just tell them to burn thier crop. so like i said eat a dick and go troll elswhere, people like you give this site bad reputation.
