New light is here!!!! Pics later on tonight!!! Taking care of setup and such. I'm keeping it at 18 in. from the tops, dropping 1 in. every day until I get to about 8 in. Then 3 more days of veg and I do the switch to 12/12. Want to get through this grow so I can start another with new found knowledge.

Your plants will be happy at the HID and hopefully grow better for you. !!!

Mine in the same age of yours is flowering heavily already, starting crystal production next week I believe.

Is that with your new light mello? Also lowr don't forget yours is an auto therefore it should be bigger. Don't get me wrong your lighting > cfl but I just wanted to clarify comparing an auto who has completed it's flower stretch is a bad comparison to a photo still vegging

Ofc it wouldn't be near the same just chiming in while here hehe.

also, I run 12/12 from seed most of the time. Kinda the same as auto and keeps things nice and fast... I go through too much to have long vegging on everything.

With a very hot light in the summer time too, it really saves on heat and energy so something to think about mello. 12/12 allows your plants less heat from seed and uses less energy especially during summer.

Good point. Do you start with flowering lights? Since you start with flowering schedule and all. @lowryderlove

Yeah it is @jartlow I can definitely notice the difference in growth between the lights.

Yes start them under 12 12 as soon as they pop from the dirt. You will need to keep the light 2 feet away at first but can slowly move it closer as the roots develop.

Running it this way can also help to keep them extremely short if you need to. Going straight into flower is the way to get auto results from any strain.
