thanks guys, last night seemed like the buds got too big for the stems or something, all leaning and stuff, so tied wire bringing the colas closer together, does this look okay?

If it was the strain I was told, "magic merlin" and my dude's pretty accurate about that stuff usually. online I've found two different descriptions, one is that it's a hybrid of granddaddy purps and double purple doja, which I don't believe for mine at least because the herb the seed came from wasn't purps, the other description was either white widow or master widow crossed with magic bud. the strain name makes more sense in the latter case, and it seems more descriptive of my plant and the smoke it came from. http://www.bouldernaturesmedicine.com/strains/pages/Magic Merlin_jpg.htm

Cant wait to see the finished product, your going to pull a lot off her.
You should look into scrog, think of how much easier it would of been setting up your lights if u were able to put the colas where u wanted them.. i cant wait to start my scrog... New thread is going to be scroggin with cfls or something

hey, expanded my setup again, brought a vegging clone and vegging sage and a seedling over from a friends house and sent them into flowering yesterday, right before the 400watt HPS arrived!
there's some photos of some apparent problem at the top of the sage too, any ideas?

yep, my friend that hooked me up with the sage seeds, flowering nutes, and helped me a lot with other setup stuff sold me a 400 watt hps last night for 50 with the ballast and bulb and hood and all. Later this week for 60 I'll get a carbon filter and inline fan from him for 60

wow man you have come a looong way. looks awesome! i have a cfl grow going currently and just got my hands on a 400w hps as well. i dont have the inline fans yet so let me know what your temps look like without them. if its manageable i might plug mine in. get ready for an explosion with that light. keep me posted on that. +rep

here's a bunch of pics, some of my veg box, with a bunch of seedlings, mostly sage, and one of the clones of mine. There's a sage, a clone of mine, and a blue dream seedling in the flowering room. anybody have an idea as to the cause of the problems with the sage? all of the close up pics of problems are on her. she belongs to a friend of mine who brought these three over here to flower. obviously one of them is just a 12/12 from seed experiment. Initially we remembered that she hasn't had many nute applications for most of her life so we gave a dose of grow big (she's only a few days into 12/12) two days ago but the problem still seems to be worsening.

yoo. Your plant is looking great, the buds are looking real nice. The little plant looks like its suffering from some kind of nute deficiency, not 100% though.

yep, but so many of the hairs are turning amber that I have begun flushing, probably a week and a half left til harvest, and probably a half ounce to an ounce, my guess. been told this about cfls, was just hoping I had enough cfls to mimic a professional light. oh well, still love my first baby girl, gonna keep at least one of the colas curing until one of her clones harvests, I'll be able to see if the yield of this plant is more affected by lighting (400watts of cfl vs 400 watts of hps) or genetics, and do a quality check too!

dude, the hairs turning brown does not necessarily mean she's done. from your last pics, i'd say you could give her another 3-4 weeks. get some kind of magnifying glass and check out the trichs. if they're still mostly clear or white, you can definitely let her go longer till you start getting the trichs turning amber. I'd hate to see you have a lower quality and decreased harvest weight by chopping her too early!
