we've been busy here. Here's a quick recap of what happened since my last post-
She's 2' 9" now, got her first dose of flowering nutes today, and her airflow is getting better each day we adjust the setup or add something new.
Yesterday picked up some rootech cloning gel and had an experienced friend over to help me cut 2 clones. They look good so far, they were perking up toward the light an hour and a half ago, the beginning of their first 6 hours of darkness away from mommy.

My same experienced friend had a present for me, somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 feminized S.A.G.E. seeds. It just blows my mind the way we work in colorado:bigjoint:

edit-just did a count of my little troops, 34 soldiers in the all-female SAGE Brigade 2nd division

Thanks! five hours from now is the start of three weeks flowering

a little tidbit, I set up a timer around the time I set up that "tent" in my room. it's actually going dark 15 minutes early and turning on 15 minutes late because I wasn't sure how accurate the timer would be. it's dead accurate, but I'm dead lazy and don't wanna try to make my way to the other side of the plant where the timer is to change it. kinda sucks, I have a burning desire to lift up the pot and check the roots at the bottom, even though I know I can't transplant during flowering, the roots always impress me. they should make more pots with clear sides so we can watch out roots! =)

by the way, despite the long flowering time I'm really glad she looks so sativa, usually I'm getting really awesome indicas and a lot of the time I kind of hold a preference for them but I miss those crazy sativa wake n bakes so much, my favorite in recent times was casey jones. Great white shark was some amazing stuff too. I wanna grow GWS

Must be nice to live in a medical town :D. I'm serious about moving to a medical state. Florida sucks, i guess they laughed at the bill to allow medical marijuana in the state, bastards. About 6 years ago i was very close to moving to Colorado and 2 years ago we drove through it going to vegas, its always nice. now the medical aspect of the state gives it another +. Will most likely move there with in a couple years.:weed:

Hey man nice grow....It's tough to tell from pics plus I have been drinkin a little....But how many times did you top it ? It looks like I can see two main colas. So it seems like it worked out good for you, eh ?

Also, do you think your plant liked going from inside and cfl to outside in the natural sunlight ?

thanks, and keep up the good grow...subbed. :peace:

thanks man! I felt like I always noticed a difference right after the dark period following a time in the sunlight. she hasn't been under sun in a long while, mostly since I don't want to move her with that whole cfl setup around her. I just topped her once, and wasn't exactly sure where the cola were supposed to come from so I didn't do it again, but it looks like I did it right the first time. glad to see you read the whole damn thing!

got five seedlings now! 3 blue dream and two sage! for anybody wondering the exact setup that sprouted these seeds without germination in 3 days, I got rockwool cubes and a humidome for about 13 total at a grow shop, the directions said to ph the water down to 5.5, I was afraid because I didn't do that, I just used water that had been sitting out for a day, but it worked! 24/0 light with two 6500k 26watt bulbs right above the humidome and a tube fluorescent 17 watt 6500k.

so sorry about the lack of pics, 15 seedlings left now, I have 7 that are now in veg and a friend down the street has 4 or 5. my hashplant seed sprouted! I was hoping for the widest selection of genetics, so now I have- sage, blue dream, magic merlin (one in flower and two clones in veg), and the one hashplant seedling that will be transplanted into veg today. might try to scrap these seedlings or something, way too many for me or my friend to veg let alone flower, and I could take the lights out of my seedling chamber and have another 2 in the flowering room. just wondering if any of these seedlings in veg will die first.

about half the seedlings are in my same old soil mix, miracle grow organic with perlite, bone meal, and blood meal, but yesterday before we did the second round of transplants we went to the grow shop and got bud candy for for my girl (she's 4 weeks and 2 days into flowering, I start additives at 5 weeks right?) and a nice big bag of Foxfarm ocean forest soil. Because of this, right now in my closet we've got a side-by-side identical genetics miracle grow organic vs foxfarm test run! I'm excited to prove something either true or false at least to myself, since different people with different setups get different results.

I'll post pics of my girls in just a little over 3 hours since the flowering lights are off.
