ok I'm considered a newb, I've had success with soil grows outdoors a few years ago, but now I'm in the position to have a real setup, so I'm doing a 4 bucket RDWC. 300w full spec. led. Grow room stays 70-85 and 55-75RH Starting seed in 100% coco, in a 72 cell prop. 7" dome and heating mat. Germinating seed in the coco. I expanded the coco in ph corrected dechlorinated water and then flushed with 5.8, coco is at 6.0 my first 4 seeds died within 3 day due to too high RH and overwatering from having water in the tray of the prop. So I ditched the heat mat, lost the water and opened the vents on the prop. Second batch, I germinated seeds a week ago today and the look like they did when they popped up. The cyclodon on my skywalker are fused but I see new growth, so it might be ok? And the amnesia seedling looks decent but it's been too long since I've grown for me to say it looks good. Just taking for ever to get any growth. I'm using the fox farm dirty dozen line up which includes everything they make. Only using 1/4 strength grow big right now. Not much info on FF nute on here a lot on soil but not for the hydro application. And this is my first post ever, as you can probably tell.

Just go to organic dirt and stop trying to drive a racecar the day you get your driver's license. Sorry bro, this is the best answer for you.

I'm sorry if I don't mention something on everything, but I'd pop the cotelodons open on a seedling with visible new growth being trapped. I do it with fresh toothpicks.

Put your finger on top of the stuck cotes, and push the film off up into your finger. Just don't pull up on it without bracing it.

Also, my fox farm schedule says to use just big bloom until second week of veg. (~5 weeks old) I know it's confusing because it says big BLOOM. If you look at the NPK you'll notice grow big is much stronger than big bloom. Big bloom is listed as: [0.01-0.3-0.7] that's seedling stuff.

My grow is soil and the hydro nutes are slightly different. Did you know that? I think soil nutes in soiless or hydro will at least mess your ph up. I can't say but there's probably other scary things too.

Make sure you use a root stimulator in the germination and seedling stage. At least use it for the first 2 weeks of growth,-have to get a good foundation (root ball) Keep It Simple - sounds like you are doing a lot of work - but hydro grows require it, the first hydro grow is always difficult - but you will get it

I'm sorry Moon I am using the big bloom and I mixed about a table spoon of indol-3 butyric acid in my coco while expanding. I'm also using the Microbe brew (1.0-.3-.05) root drench (0.8-0.1-0.03) bembe (0-1-3)and come back (2-0.2-0.3)in very small 1ml per gal for the mycorrhizaeAnd yes I have both the soil and hydro version of Grow big, I'm using the soil version in coco is that ok? I didn't say all this last night cause I wasn't expecting a reply I guess
