I need to do that after my first crop, i'm gonna do a soil hydro for now and on the second try i'll get some aero stuff for clones etc.

I always go with rapid rooter and aerocloner, wait for good rooting to occur, then I transplant to the pellets. It's a pretty safe tried and true method
works like a charm, i kind of specifically place it between hyrdoton but not too much as to disturb the seed, in my sig actually

Them kits are only like, 150 or so. Worth every penny, especially when u can start hookin people up. the machine will end up paying for itself. something to consider.

aND...!! aeroponics are THE WAY TO GO when it comes time to take clones/cuttings!
