First grow - sour diesel and grand daddy purple

I grow both of those almost exclusively and they both look really good. Looks like you got some good genetics, which is very important and very rare. The Diesel will prolly out stretch the GDP by the time theyre done. You'll be amazed at the yield difference too. Diesel is a huge yielder if you do it right. But they both can handle almost anything you throw at them, so push the nutes the further along in flowering you are. At week 8 for the Diesel and week 6 for the GDP I'm at about double recommended nute strengths. And yes, node distance is determined by the light distance, but also the type of light. MH's will always stack nodes, it has to do with the spectrum. HPS's will always stretch a plant more. But like I said, good job. The 'only' thing you way wanna do different is not bring them outside ever. If you have a clean and pest-free room, you really dont wanna bring something in just because you wanted to take a pic. LOL

oh yea it out stretched the gdp by atleast 6 inches. the sour d had powder mildew pretty bad but i did nothing to stop it because i thought a sulfur burner was my only defense but ive recently found out differently. i took them outside to add an extension to my cab cuz the plants were impacting the glass on my hood before flowering even started. need less to say i wont be taking any plants outside anymore. i do run MH during veg and HPS during flower. i also found that these plants were hearty eaters and by week 6 both strains were handling 1800 ppm with no problems. after taking down the sour d last night i noticed the buds were nicer then i thought but still not ecstatic about the results. thanks for your input and kind words.

the sour d dried real fast due to small buds and high temps beyond my control. total weight of the 3 plants was 4 and 3/8 ounces. thats not including the ounce of popcorn crap buds thats going to be used to make BHO.

I dont remember what nutes you said you were using, if you did say. But this is my program, Sour D is pretty much my "signature" strain.

Veg:
GH Flora Micro and Grow
Dark Energy
Greenfuse Grow
Superthrive
Snowstorm
Floralicious Plus

Flower:
GH Flora Micro and Bloom
Liquid KoolBloom
Dark Energy
Greenfuse Bloom
Thrive Alive Green
Snowstrorm
Floralicious Plus
Hygrozyme

After week 5:
1 Tsp. blackstrap molasses per gallon
Kool Bloom Powder

Weeks 9 and 10:
Flush with Gravity and Molasses, 1 Tsp. per gallon of each

Good luck man, try it again. Done right its a very tasty and profitable strain.

i used :
FFOF with 20% perilite added
GH subculture b
AN iguana gro ( veg )
AN humic acid (veg/flower)
An fulvic acid (veg/flower)
AN connisuier A & B (flower)
AN bud blood (week 1-2 flower)
AN big bud powder (week 3-5)
AN overdrive liquid (week 6-7)
AN final phase (flush)

my sour d started out beautiful but the powder mildew just destroyed it in the end. too bad i didnt know about sulfer soap in liquid form or else i wouldve used it. i might try it again just so i can redeem myself.

ive already started . i have 2 querkle seedlings sprouted out in rapid rooter plugs. 1 is doing real good and is fully open, while the other needed a little help shedding its shell and has yet to fully open. i hope the 1 struggling pulls thru otherwise im going to go get some clones.
