First Grow - "Stealth" - Bagseed - 130W CFL: All input welcome!!

Oh man, thanks a ton for the tip on the humidifier--I think I actually may pick one up since lower temps in the box would make the girls happy I'm sure. Just subbed to your thread too, btw!

No prob man, that's what RIU is all about... someone helps you and you help others. I love it. I have never heard anyone mention the cool humidifier trick. That said, there are plenty of smart people on here and I bet at least one of them has thought of it, but none that I have found. I am loving it.

peace

Quick group shot--then a couple of quick shots of Sammy (black) and Newie (redcup).

Thanks man! No matter how much I tie Sammy down you can't stop her--she's Sammy Unstoppable! I'll be so bummed if she end's up being a he, to say the least :(

And then there were 4.

Sammy did, in fact, end up being Samson :(

Woke up this morning and the first thing I notice is two different groups that were distinctly balls. Thought about giving her another day but you can only stay in denial for so long and today was the only day I'd have time to sit down and make sure Newie got a proper transplant into Sammy's old spot.

Group shot as usual. RIP Sammy.

So long Sammy!!!! (playing taps)

At least you have three more.

Got another male :( Woke up this morning to balls everywhere on the lil guy. Haven't killed him yet, just topped him and I'm going to use him as a light gauge to see how close I can put the others to the light before they burn up. That way I avoid another Thummy incident.

What a bummer though because the two males have been really good plants. Newies the best of the bunch again now.

So now there are 3. I heard females show later than males so maybe this is a good sign? Oh and I had been overnuting all of the plants I was giving nutes too, I never gave them any regular water so I think finally working out a proper feeding schedule should have some good results.

at least you have three left. I have two and no idea on sex as of yet (of course)... and one of the two is deformed. My one healthy one, looks very nice... if it's a male, them f it. I go straight to my femanized purchased grapefruit seed. I am growing one at a time with the ladies.

Yeah if I get too many males I'll just pick up some clones off of my buddy, that way I'll know I for sure have females.

More balls this morning! Oh lordy!

Only good news is that I'm about 90% sure Newie is female. Hopefully Roz is female too.

Speaking of, she grew a bit much last night and was a little singed this morning. I really need to just start checking where they are as soon as they wake up each morning.

First pic is of the balls. It's a little blurry but you can see just rolling hills of balls around where I topped it.

Second is a group shot.

Last two pics are of Roz and Newies updated LST jobs. Newie is growing really long fingers which I'm really liking.

no worries on the males... now you need less light than before and/or the others will receive more. Nice LST... I am prob a week or so away to doing the same on one.

Thanks man :)

Yeah I'm worried less and less about males. Down to two now and I'm pretty sure both babies are females! No pistils yet but no balls in sight, so all good news if you ask me.

Here are some updated shots. I transplanted Roz yesterday and damn she's lovin' the new space. There is literally JUST enough room in there for both of them, though I may consider putting Roz into one of the black pots that Newie is in.

What do you guys think?

Speaking of Newie, check her out. Getting bigger and bigger each day!

Roz and Newie look well taken care of. Very nice on LST... first time? It will be for me. I may Scrog with some chicken wire.

Thanks man. Ya it's my first time doing LST. I literally just shove the head down to the dirt and then hook'em. I've found that putting the hooks in at angles as opposed to straight down makes them stay in better because those plants will start to yank 'em right out once the soil dries haha. I actually re-LSTed Newie today after giving her a bit of water, her head is extremely close to the dirt now and all the new shoots are soaking in major light.

I was thinking about scrogging but I like being able to take my plants out (and get the hell away from the blinding light of the box).

I guess I could build the scrog out from the flower pot.

sorry to hear about the males. tough loss.
My plants are about the same size as yours but no signs of sex yet ):
and I LST'd just like you have.

Interested to see how this goes, sorry bout the boys crashing the party, this'll give the girls more room to spread their wings.

Oh no BOYS! I'm dreading the same thing on mine which is just about to sex any day now....yours, Easy's and mine are all around the same age...and all first grows ...hopefully your last 2 come out w/ skirts
