Also Just ordered some seeds cause im planning on running a proper set up after im down with this first run (learn from first run, jizzz on the second run).
5x Northern Lights Feminized Seeds
5x Super OG Kush Feminized Seeds
3x Skunk Feminized Seeds
and 4x Free Seeds..

1.Veg/Cloning/mother
I'm planning on getting a 220w T5 Grow Light 4x 6400k tubes Hydroponic Grow bloom Propagation Light kit for my veg/clone/mother area.. Idk if ill be able to put all those under a single light, but we'll see..http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/252333818864?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

The (1month) veg/cloning/mother area (god now that im saying it it sounds impossible) is going to be in a closet/cabinet (Picture 1).
Its dimensions are: (LxWxH) 50x75x163 cm aka 20x30x64 inches. There is am adjustible divider there so i can possible just buy 2 of those 220w light kits and keep the smaller clones on the smaller section on top and the vegging/mothers on the bottom where there is more height.. who knows. anyway there is always a backup closet 52x125x152cm (second picture) where i can keep whatever doesnt fit in this cabinet. Im planning on doing 3 rotations so going to be taking clones pretty often, so hopefully that will keep the mothers from growing too big.

2. Flowering room.
Planing on getting 2 600w HPS lights for flowering. with about 120x120cm area of plants per light. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/321415609106?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

I was really tempted to go all out and get hydro system and shit, but after doing some research im def going soil, as a new grower I def need the forgiving ability of soil.

3. Grow "tent"
I think grow tents are incredibly expensive, so if i can make one out of pvc tubing and black plastic tarp for cheap enough, ill do that.. otherwise ill have to get 2 of these 1.2x1.2x2m http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Hydroponics-Grow-Tent-1-2mx1-2mx2m-Mylar-Bud-Dark-Oxford-Cloth-Indoor-Greenhouse-/131346815768?hash=item1e94e15b18:g:pyMAAOSwAL9UhSGk

4. Harvest
Im planning on doing a 3 light rotation, so as to harvest about every month, and hoping to yield about 500grams dry. this estimate is based on shit ive read but its only a target, I dont expect anything, i just hope for everything.

Alrgiht guys input very appreciated.
thanks

PS: I just ordered the seeds, so they will take around 2 weeks to get here.. this "plan" is not for tomorrow or anytime too soon, its what i'd like to do in the not too long future. lets say.. around june

In my personal opinion based off photos I still see 2 issues. Every photo your plants look as if they are being over water, however its your grow and you state that is def not the problem, however this is just my opinion. Secondly, as it has been mentioned the soil looks for compact, I would recommend using more perlite as to be about 30% of your grow medium to help with drainage.

As far as your goal of 500 grams a month, I wish you the best of luck, however this will take EXPERIENCE. The more time you take and continue to learn the better your chance of hitting this goal. As for running 2 - 600w hps in a grow tent of that size, this will be more then adequate light, but have you considered how you will deal with temperatures? A 600 way bulb in that grow space could easily hit of 90 degrees without the prop extraction system and/or cool air being pulled into tent. Running 2 - 600watt is only going to increase the chance of heat issues.

By no means am I saying that it will not be possible to handle the heat, but its going to be a very real issue that you will want to plan for before spending that kind of money on lights. I guess if nothing else tho you could use one in veg and one in flower if things get too hot for one tent. Just throwing my two cents out there. Best of luck.

PH is far less important in a soil grow then if he were to go hydro. Soils have natural buffers in them for ph, just a little light on the subject. However, keep on keeping on.

yeah, no doubt its not going to be easy, but that is my target. Ill slowly get better each run. I def dont expect anything to be perfect, its going to be a ongoing process, but ill enjoy the journey.

1. I do think the water is okay, I water once every day or other day and I take pictures usually soon after i water so that may be why it seems that way, but next time ill take a pic before watering for your guy's opinions cause i could be wrong.

2. Yes the soil is def compact, its true and its my fault. I will use some perlite and try to break up some soil when i transfer this her to a bigger pot, its just that I don't wanna shock the little girl again so soon by transplanting and stuff.

1. I agree 100%, I don't expect 500g a month, its just my target, and I know for sure there will be plenty of problems and things to learn before im close to that target.

2. 600w per 1.2m squared tent is a bit too much ? Do you recommend I increase the area a litte ? 1.5 squared ?
I was thinking of using a carbon filter with an exhaust blower fan for each 600 light (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/121963703634?var=420952533872) (188 CFM enough?) and hooking it up next to the light and making it exit out the tent.
Im on the 'bottom' hemishpere so winter is just starting, for the next 4 months we should have temps averaging around 8ºC to 15ºC (46ºF - 60ºF). and that room is usually quite cold, but im not sure how hot those lights will make it, and if ill have to draw som air from the outside..thanks for the heads up.

Oh i plan to use one 600w per tent (per 1.2m squared).

thanks for your input, its appreciated.
let me know what you think

let me know what you think
If you are watering everyday or even every other day you are infact overwatering them.

Yes you are keeping roots constantly wet. Thats my humble opinion.
Alright, I've had enough people tell me its over-watered. I'm gonna stop being hard headed and not water her for the next 2 days and take a pic at the end of the 2 days and we'll see what'll happen from there haha.

I also think you should up pot as well. Then you can water well and wait 3 days or so between waters atleast ay your stage.

1. Learn to starve for water. Water then let it go at least two full days before watering again. 3 days is better. This cycle repeats throughout growth. Roots stretch out to seek water when you let things dry up good. That makes things uptop grow.
2. Get some good soil. Ocean Forest or Happy Frog, I prefer the latter. Be sure and mix it with some perlite maybe 20-25 percent.
3. Never use nutrients on babies. Good soil should give them plenty for 3 to 4 weeks.
4. If you must feed, wait at least two weeks and use a very diluted (1/4 strength) solution. Not grow nutrients! Trace mineral like botanicaire or liquid karma. Save the grow nutrients until 1 month old. Of course start those at 1/4 strength and work you way slowly up.

I still recommend getting bigger CFLs on those plants. I know you want to do a trial run, but you would see better results from the cool white spectrum and from bigger bulbs. Not even insanely larger, expensive bulbs, just 125W comparable CFL bulbs. Mine ran about $8 a piece. Growing from seeds does take a longer time and I know mine seemed to take forever, but once I had better lighting on them I could tell it was helping them grow much faster. Good luck dude

Hope all is well on your end. I would definitely hold out on water at least 3 days, as someone stated. Also once you water feel how heavy the container feels, and when the container feels light water again, that will help greatly.

Alright gents, its been 57 hours since I last watered.
These last 5-10 hours, the soil has felt very different. Very dry, soft of fluffy, very loosely packed, easy to take apart. before it was pretty compact and dense. And the container pretty light.

Also I went to my local home improvement store and finally got some daylight CFLs.
The highest watts i could find was 20W. So i got 2 for now.
My biggest problem with these CFLs is not to find them, but find fittings to put them in. I don't want to buy a damn light stand that costs like 15 bucks each and it'll be useless after the plant reaches a certain height... and I cant find a damn splitter. for my last 2 I've had to buy the electrical contact point, an extension cord, and wire them up.. but extension cords are like 10 bucks each.. so I'm thinking of ordering one of these badboys http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/351567384080?var=620586445606 . Don't get me wrong i want to plug up more lights, I already have the bulbs, but thats been a real bitch. I swear sometimes the simplest things are the most frustrating.

Anyway Morning of day 35, 57 hours after last watering.. I couldn't resist watering her till a bit of it drained from the bottom.
it was one hour after the light timer turned on, and she has 19 more hours under today (20/4 cycle).
This brings me to another question. When do you guys suggest I slowly go down to 16/8 ? I see many people not even doing anything but 16/8, others doing 20/4 all the way... there are so many styles out there but i feel the common trend is to start 24/0 and slowly go down to 16/8 as the plant grows. anyway tell me how you guys deal with that and wha tyou think i should do.

So as you can see, I have a cool white along with a warm white light. I read somewhere is good to have both sprectrums.. but daylight is better for veg, so should i just put both daylight CFLs ? let me know.
I think that the leaves have become darker at the base. idk if thats from them recovering from overwater or just a normal growing step.

Daylight is for growth/vegging so yeah at this time I would use both.
