First "real" grow...DoinIt2Gether and doin it right (hopefully)

Pic one is of the biggest mid and her first hairs...pic two is just to show the new growth on the second mid. It's been in flower...3 days I think, I gotta go back and check.

Hey do u guys like it better when I make the pics bigger, or better as thumbnails?
 
Looking good as usual D2G. the pics can go either way for me. I still click on them and enlarge them either way so it doesn't matter. :-D
 
I personally don't like the thumbnails, thats why i embed each photo into the page.

But thats just because I am lazy when there are a bunch of thumbnails, lol
 
I like the bigger ones better also, I have having to squint at the screen to see them...I shouldnt have to squint at any damn thing, my laptop has a 17" monitor LOL. I'm gonna use the bigger ones from now on, unless I'm too high and forget
 
The littlest auto sexed today (day 28)! It's another girl-that makes 3 of the 4 autos girls. It just has little bitty hairs sprouted, but hey hairs are hairs, no matter what the size LOL. Those were from dopeseeds.com if anyonez interested.
 
I've named the little girl Faith. Destiny, Hope, and Faith for my first real grow, I think its appropriate LOL. I think I'll name the girl mid Luck, cuz I need all the luck I can get :)

Idk if it's good, bad, or ugly, but Destiny's hairs are starting to turn rust colored. Except for the little ones that are just sprouting, those ones look more purple...is this normal?

Also, does anyone know how I can tell, if there is a way, if the pollination that I tried to do worked?
 
I don't know either but I wanted to pop in and say congrats on yet another girl flowering! I can't wait til I'm with you on this one.
 
Mornin Bill! I slept too late and lights are out, but I'm going to check my outside autos right now. I already checked on the male and cut 5 new pollen sacs off him, he is giving me more pollen than I'm gonna be able to use...YAY! :) I'll be back in a min to let you know how the girls look.
 
Girls look good. Not really alot of growth, but the littlest one is up from 2 inches to 3 so that makes me a little happy. The only changes are that I no longer have to look closely to see the hairs on Hope and Faith, and Destiny's bottom bud took the pollination VERY WELL, all the little hairs are dead. But now how do I tell when it gets done? I used the hairs with my last grow, will I have to look at the trichs now to determine harvest? The middle bud doesnt look like it took any pollen, but the top bud got some, so I should get at least a couple usable seeds. Does anyone know if the plant will sprout new hairs after it has been pollinated? I ask because I want to pollinate my mid (Lucky) but she doesn't have very many hairs yet...
 
I read that you are supposed to pollinate after they have been flowering for about 3 weeks. And usually you can tell they are ready cause the seeds will grow inside the calyx, and the calyxes will start to swell, and in some cases the seed will actually burst through the calyx.
