First "real" grow...DoinIt2Gether and doin it right (hopefully)

Thanks for poppin in during my absense Bill, and welcome bigs! Thanks for the compliment. I've never grown skunk before, but I'm glad to know its good. No one I've talked to has grown it or knows anything about it. Stop in whenever u would like, I always welcome new ppl!
 
I clipped eight more balls off the male today, they are about half done now. I have decided I am going to try to hermie the little skunk for seeds. I'm hopin its female cuz I'm pretty sure u can't hermie a male LOL. I'm gonna give it about a half an hour of light right in the middle of the dark cycle. This should work, right?
 
My second mid popped today! I don't think I'm ever gonna germinate again...I just put both of those right in the dirt and had sprouts in less than 3 days! I'm gonna try to get pics in a couple hours, since I normally do it on Mondays.

I agree. it seems to be the quickest way to do it
 
I've done that too, and BOY did that piss me off! It was a freakin 15 dollar bean! I would rather save the time and money and aggravation.
 
I found that if you put them directly into soil, it helps to put like a heating pad under the container, so you can keep the soil warm.
 
Thats a good thought bill. I didn't even think about that, but its been ranging from 80-90 degrees here with a night time low of like 75, so I think its probably good for now...hey, maybe thats y they sprouted so quick!
 
Im jealous, it's supposed to be summer, and it hasn't gotten hotter than 80 yet. Yesterday was overcast practically all day! I hate the Marine Layer.
