Your plants look great, I tried to find one thing wrong with them and I couldnt. no burn no deficiency, they look really healthy. Have you changed the nutes you used in vegg? looks like you had a good amount of nitrogen going into flower, in another week you can probably cut down on the amount of nitrogen in your feed.

Closet grow using ebb and flow Microgarden system with Botanicare products. Pretty simple setup if I'm doing it right. Using a 400 watt HID light running 18/6. Flooding the tray for 30 mins every 6 hours. The plants been in this system for 11 days. Bagweed seeds germinated and sprouted in about a week before I put them in system. Let me know if they are looking healthy or tell me what you see wrong. Will place some dry ice in there for CO2 this weekend. How often do I need to change the water and do I ever need to run just ph water without nutes and for how long? Thanks guys for all your tips, tricks and help!
Oldluck,I have the botanicare system just above that one,the turbo garden with a 25gal rez 2'x3' i replaced the 14 6x6 pots with 2 gal hydroton, round pots x7.This system gives great results.
Are you still flooding 30min every 6hrs?That seems like a lot.I flood 2x 15min in 24hrs 1st week then 3x aday 15min untill harvest.
If i flooded 4x a day for 30min it would be to much.When i went 4x 15min plants didn't like it and i went back to 3x 15min.
That is a killer little system you have.I saw a guy grow 4 plants in that system with a 400whid and his plants looked like high times centerfolds, blew me away.
Good job man and good growing.

My tallest plant grew 6 inches last night and the main cola got burned by the light. That won't heal will it?

That sucks! Will post up some pixs wed so you can see what i'm talking about. What stage of flowering do they stop growing up and the buds start to fill out?

When did you put them in flower? There is a period at the very start of flower called the "stretch", usually plants double or triple in height depending on strain and other factors. It goes for about 2 weeks but a bit longer for longer flowering strains. Some strains such as the strain I have stretch alot, Ive seen an example where a plant put into flower at 5 inches became 5 feet after stretch. After the stretch the plant goes into flower production and the vertical growth slows considerably, Flower formation is slower at the start and there is a filling out period near the end where the buds really fatten up, so harvesting too early can mean you really cut back your yeild, as well as having premature bud. I told you earlier you could cut down on your N but don't do this yet if the plant is still stretching, wait until vertical growth has slowed, then you can reduce the N. If the bud is totally scorched you might want to trim off some of the dead parts, because dead plant material can lead to mold. Its not a big deal if you burnt it a bit, you wont get as nice a cola but the rest of the plant will be ok, plus it wont look nearly as pretty in a photoshoot lol.

whats your lighting, humidity, temperature?

I'm using a 400 watt. It is bag seed so I can't tell you the flower period of the strain. Last week of veg she was 18 inches and now she is 45 inches. I had a few that was taller but they were males. Hi temp 79 low temp 71 Hum 30% Been feeding them around 800 ppm for the last week, almost 2. Took some pixs of the burned bud and one of the good one. If you look back a few pages on this thread, you can see how she looked before the burn.

You have more experience than me in growing, so youll have to take everything I say as possibly completely wrong lol, But that bud looks like it might heal considerably, theres very little necrotic tissue, anything that isnt dead could possibly recover quite a bit.

My plants look alot better now, I let my coco dry out almost completely, no harm done I hope.

do you know why they are drooping?

Well, last week I put a couple of cfl's in there for the shorter plant and got them a little to close and burned a couple of leaves. All the buds are pretty small still. Not sure if this is a 8 week plant or 11 week plant. I guess it is more of a waiting game now. Well you guys let me know how the leaves and plants are looking. Still fumbling through the nute cycles so let me know if they need anything from your experiences. Still no smell at all.

still checkin in on this grow..looks good.. weee bit of stretching but wutevr...i wanna see wut those damn buds look like in 5 or six weeks...hang in there

those lights need to be lowered regardless, either way, this for me is the time i dont want them to streatch the most, the stem is so frail and thin, if the lights are too far away it will move toward the lights nomatter what stage. lights closer, no nutes till first true leaves appear, plain water until first true leaves appear, then light solution under 400ppm, when more leaves grow and is healthy, gradually move the ppm up, i never go above 600-800ppm while vegging absolutly never, i veg for about 3 weeks, then flip them (change light cycle)

The stretch is over and the lights are low to the tallest plant. Had the lights to low and the main cola burned. How do the leaves and buds look for this stage of the grow?
