First time grower, experimenting with CFL and Sterilite Box

Here is the bagseed that I kept....



You can tell there's a nitrogen deficiency, but I am in the process of treating it. Hopefully will have it cleared up by next week. Other than that she's looking pretty good in my opinion .

Seedsman Original Skunk #1 started sprouting this morning! The sour kush hasn't shown yet, potted it yesterday after I saw signs of germination.

That bagseed is lookin stubby! That's good shit! I'm ready for you to have fat nugs for me to look at ;P

You look like you got a solid grip on stuff Ms. Ma'am! I'm excited. I'm moving shortly but I'm ordering seeds real shortly! I'm excied about all of this. I'm gonna upgrade my gear too!

Funny I just read your post! Shit you might want to try this Sour Kush! Is OG Kush and Sour Diesel mixed together. Everything I heard about it is good...strong high but won't knock you down to where you can't do anything anymore. Heard some people say it's the best they ever smoked. I got a feminized seed free from Herbies Pick 'N Mix. I only ordered two seeds (just to see if it really worked) and I got 4 seeds free, 2 of them fem. I think you can buy the kush specifically for the low too!

Yea def is pricey, but I figure it's worth it do once and make clones or seeds. One of my seeds only cost 4 bucks lol. Spent 20 bucks total on my order and it was super stealthy even though I selected the regular stealth option. I read that if you flower your plants a couple weeks longer they will sprout hermie flowers on top of your buds with pollen in them. You cut them off, put them in plastic bags in your fridge and then harvest. When you're ready to pollinate whichever female you choose, you split the pistil open and brush the pollen on the flowers with a paint brush. This also makes 100% feminized seeds! I am going to try it at least once. Is a great way to experiment with your own cross breeds too. Oh and you can keep the hermie pistil with pollen in fridge for a month...so is useful method to do when you want to make seeds with next grow.

You know, my plant hermied like twice. It popped one nut in a couple places and then it would just kick it! After the last set she just stopped making them. If I get seeds I will be happy. But not too many! I would want like 5.

I checked on the Sour Kush this morning and she has sprouted from the soil =).



The Seedsman's Original Skunk #1 has unfolded her leaves and she's looking like a beauty already. She might look short in the pic, but I added soil because I heard it promotes stem growth and after I watered she was looking a little naked.



And I know I put a pic of the bagseed yesterday but oh well, there is growth and I personally love watching other's plants as they change so here it is:

Yea twice. Just started a schedule of watering every other day with a fresh solution of 1 part urine to 15 parts water. If it works out and the plant gets healthy, will use this method on the kush and skunk.

Let me know how it works out. I personally dont think Im gonna pee on my plants. My grandfather says it does work but must be diluted for sure like your doing. Keep us posted with pics.

Think you might have burnt it a bit. Mine didn't start yellowing the leaves till much later.

But don't take that to the bank...

Nope it's not burned...the leaves have been yellowing at least a week before I fertilized. Also you can tell it's a deficiency and not a burn because the leaves are slowly yellowing from the outside in, starting from the bottom of plant. Looked up a guide that shows you how to determine nute problems. I'm on a different comp but will post it when I find it. Black Gold has barely any nitrogen in it and this is right around the time when the plants start drawing on nutes to grow. Not to mention, this is some shitty ass bagseed. It's probably not of that great a pedigree.

Lol yea I know a lot of people probably won't ever do it, but I was curious and I think it's awesome how it's organic and economical haha! I might throw out the bagseed later on, is possible it could be male, so it's my guinea pig for the moment. I also have MG organic ferts (sugar beet molasses) if things don't work out.

so what are ya doing for veg/flower? 2-6 weeks veg??
