I might just have to do that this year for my salmon fix.
Although I can't wait for the feather to open up(july 16), it's gonna be another bunk year/season because of the flows. On a normal year, we catch some seriously dime bright salmon early in the season though. But again, prob not gonna happen this year again
. Probably only end up catching beat up zombies again
. Nah, not that bad but......i landed almost 50 last year, only a few of them were springers and fresh fall run though. The rest looked like that 42lb. buck I keep posting(and worse)

Gonna be fishing all day tomorrow. A local pond stocks with trout every year so I'm hoping to get some in the freezer. Wish me luck.

not a fish but they less the 100 yards behind my pond, i let my son and grandson harvest each one a year.i spend probly $500.00 a year on the feed and salt and mineral sites. i feed every thing, squirels, deer and fish, they got it made here.

a red I caught on a live shrimp. used one of my bass rods, a 6 ft 6in graphite texas all star worm rod, with a 5500 ambassador using 30 lb braided spider wire. nice fight. caught 3 this size, but only can keep one over 27 inch.
this one here was 38 inches and weighed 24 lbs.
limited on these small trout also.
all in all was a good day, got to bring my cousin, he don't have long left. down to one lung and weighing 140lbs. its getting too hot for him. he is going down swinging!!!!

My trainer at work doesn't like fishing, so he won't stop when we drive by the cool fishing holes.
But I am bringing my rod anyway - and maybe I'll just have to jump out of the car in STEALTH MODE and run to the water?
Next week I'll be able to fish ALL the TIME!!!!
