Yes sir. It's that time of year. Rod and reels are spooled up ready to go. Water temps will be 45-50 so the fishing will be slow. Might luck up and catch some nice spots.

gunna have to get my gear in shape and run my boat. its been about 6 months since i have fished.
i lost my boating buddy and havent been in my boat since, wont be the same without him

I'm sorry for your loss my friend. I can't imagine losing my fishing buddy and I know it would be hard to go out without him. Keep your lines tight.

Down here in NW Florida I have lots of fishing to choose from. Catfish, bass and panfish in the ponds, creeks and rivers. I have a cousin with a big boat, and they go out on the Gulf most weekends, but I like to wade and fish the surf down at Mexico Beach. Destin has turned into tourist central. Still good fishing, but better in a boat.

When I was a kid we were walking in the surf at Saint George's Island and I stepped on a ray. My feet flew out from under me and I landed on my ass. Luckily I didn't get hit with the barb.

Not for me. My shoulder can't stand up to the beating. But lots of folks do fly fish out of Destin. You see a lot more fisherman in the gulf on kayaks these days too.

Trout fishing starts as soon as ice goes about 4-5 weeks, just need to get a more comfortable chair for my front lawn to fish from lol, I do prefer shooting them though
