First I've heard of that one lol

A 10/14 will most likely get you some nice foxtails, 8/16 will kill your final yield

ya want frosty, do what is known for sure to work, lower temps, lower humidity (in the 20's), deep blue light, sulfur, insect frass, jasmonite. there are lots of things that work but experiments are good for learning new ways. So try it and see
I dont know what foxtails are, could you explain please?

8/16 killing my final yield I kind of disagree with, scientifically marijuana apparently only takes in about 6 hours of light nutrients in the flowering period. Makes sense to me because ive been told a few times if growing outdoors just make sure they get at least 6 hours of light a day. I dono about 14 hours of light for veg. id say 16 on that one probably but ya there could def. be a certain line you dont want to cross where it starts to diminish weight.

Lower temps, lower humidity.. absolutely. I don't know anything about deep blue light, sulfur, or what insect frass, and jasmonite are. But thanks ya we will see what happends

I have read adding sugar improves yield. I tried this line from dutchnutrientformula.com and one of the additives was refined sugar, haha fuckers coulda grabbed that at bulk barn. The whole line was about $100.00 didnt care was first grow. This time I have some bud candy from advanced nutrients (p.s. recently read on this site that someone said the own of AN was caught fucking 12 year olds or something and that it was all over the news so dont/wont be buying anything from AN anymore!). Anyways so what I did was flush on monday.. i feed every watering, watering once a week with 1L in 3L pots. Next monday I was either going to flush them again or give them only bud candy. OR 500ml with bud candy, for half of the final week then the remaining couple days flush again. Ive been using bud candy all the way through obviously just trying to get that extra taste or weight or crystal. I didnt have anything to compare to but way back when I had the refined sugar I flushed second last week then the sugar final week and at double the max dosage. I was happy with the results, but again dono if it really did anything extra. I have 7 kush and 1 cheese.. so I can do some dicking around with the 7 kush if there are any suggestions with that, maybe it really doesnt matter..

The true secret is sulfur, but what do I know lol

wouldn't want to give you more bad advice
No advice is bad advice, its all on how its taken in. Could you further explain what foxtails are and deep dark blue light, sulfur etc. thanks for your input man, cheers!

foxtails are little buds growing out of buds, Google cannabis foxtails and click images :)

Deep blue grows trics, look at flowering under MH or under an MH with an HPS, most MH bulbs have deep blue and growers that use both lights usually report plants under the MH are frostier. I use T5's so I can dial my spectrum and use ATI Coral Plus for deep blue

Use sulfur in the form of sulfates and you'll see for yourself IOW instead of paying huge $$$ for a Cal/Mag supplement use Gypsum ( Calcium Sulfate) & Epsom (Magnesium Sulfate)

I think I know what your talking about with the fox tails, reminds me of how jack herrer grows. And I do not use cal/mag... 5 years ago i was on here like a mad man soaking up everything like a sponge and now.. all i hear is cal/mag this and that.. most lines already have this in their make up of base nutrients so I am not on that train yet. Again awhile ago when i was on here a lot, I do remember reading about the frostiness of the blue spectrum. I actually remember looking into purchasing "dual arc bulbs" i think they are called? where the bulb is half HPS and half MH. What and why do you use "ATI Coral Plus" ? Is this kind of like an additive that helps uptake and adapt better to the blue spectrum or something?

Thanx man!:bigjoint:

A few years ago I posted over 6000 post on this forum as Riddleme

perhaps go check some of it out, then you'll know who am :)
Sounds fermil. yep! Again no advice is bad advice, I think you are just getting ripped on because of the "new member" thing. Mind you which I have noticed a lot of since I came back. People are either creating new profiles or finally getting out in the open. I see a lot of new members with great, well understood, educated advice. This such like your situation, I can, and I'm sure the guys before now realize that as well. Cheers dude :)

The ATI Coral Plus is a T5 Deep Blue Bulb, I flower with T5's

Another thing to add about the sugars being added: Sugars great for a couple reasons but the most substantial is for feeding endomycorrizae(beneficial fungi) that will feed your plants more than they can feed themselves. Here's a white rhino that I have been vegging for about 6 weeks and has had NO nutes at all aside from a single feeding of molasses.
