Flush or Darkness first

I am around 20% Amber on the Trichromes. What do I do next? I have tried a few different ways but I want to experiment with other methods. I think the are ready. If I want to harvest in a week should I flush first, and then put in darkness 24-48 hours before I cut them down. After I flush them do I water anymore, Should I spray water on the foliage and buds too When is the last time I water before pulling them? How many hours should they be in dark after I flush them Thanks. I am all ready and waiting for your opinions

Alright fella,

I flush for two weeks before harvest then at the end of the grow i leave the girls in darkness for 24hrs..
But thats just me, every grow has his/her own method so to be honest its probaly best for you to just do what you feels right..
But always flush first followed by a dark period..

oh shit forgot to say NEVER SPRAY WATER ON BUDS....... lol

Thanks, I have been spraying the whole plant through the whole flowering cycle...Ooops. However, I did do this for my first grow and everything came out awesome...However I had a lot of problems on the second crop and got a bunch of shit....lol....Note to self...Stop spraying buds....lol Everything is looking good for now except I think the buds could have been bigger. How many gallons of water to size of container? Thanks for the help.

My girls are in 16l pots and all i do for the final 2 weeks is water as normal just with out the nutes..
We're not flushing the soil in the sense that we would do for say nute burn or salt build up. we're just incouraging
the plant to use up the last of the nutes stored in the soil and plant thats all...
All helps to get a smoother cleaner smoke..

IMO.....at 20% amber, you're in the overripe zone already....spraying water on your buds encourages mold & mildew..............some flush, some don't....I use organics so I don't but I do reduce/eliminate nutes the last week or so......I don't do dark periods either....... some may not agree with my methods but I grow the dankest and most palatable bud in out small "collective" of long time growers......
Ole wives tales will have you standing on your head and trimming left handed............
