You can start it in flower if you want. Keep in mind the less time in veg stage the less yield you’ll have

but that doesnt mean itll flower... it can only flower after reaching sexual maturity, that is after displaying pre-sex and not growing 2 branches per node anymore.

I would never go 12/12 fm seed,i veg for 2 to 3 months strain dept,thank you Hust,you have been the most friendly sence being new member thank you for that,i feel rite at home now

Thanks, we glad to have pleasant members! Ya I’ve always vegged for 6+ weeks but this run I have a 3.5 and 4.5 weeker so we’ll see how they do.

I really underestimated the stretch with my GG4/SKITTLES,now im at week 5 in flower in a 7gal fab pot,in a 4x4.now nothing else can fit,so im pushing for a big return

Not quite. I'm doing my first run of 12/12 from seed and plants will flower long before they get big enough to show those markers of maturity. I've got 3 plants under 40 cm tall, all in flower, and one about 7 cm tall just starting to show pistils.

Sorry, didn't read your full post attentively enough. Just pointing out that the first sentence gives the impression that you don't think the plant can flower going 12/12 from seed.

Im sorry - non-native english writer here...
Actually Im that 12/12fs is going to result in an earlier flowering than compared to Autos or 18/6 + 12/12, also plants will be smaller so choose this if youve got a plentiful SOG going.
Just clones are "more soon".
I just think that what one does with his Veg-lightcycles is somewhat dependant on "AreaToFill vs PlantCount-ratio"...
