Does it bother anyone else what Romney says?

I feel like hes pandering to the average idiot by saying something like that.

While factually correct it is a completely dishonest thing to say and very misleading to the uninformed.

wtf? when has the price of a gallon of gas been under $2 in the last say 10 years?? ffs, the last 2 or so years gwb was in office the price per gallon was almost $5 per.. i had to stop listening after that one..

and i have to say with a name like racerboy, i'm a car junkie through and through, but we really need to do something about the continued use of fossil fuels to power them imvo..
look at all of the other advances in technology in the last century alone, yet we stand by the combustion engine and the use of fossil fuels like that's the only way to power a car.. and don't even get me started on electric cars ffs, that technology is even older then the internal combustion engine and in no way a step forward, but rather a step back imo..

Lot of old technology that we don't utilize.

bush did a great job of repairing the price of gas, getting it all the way down to $1.80 or so. and all he had to do was crash the living mother fuck out of the economy.

In the summer of '03, I remember paying about $1.50 per in Nevada, then $2.12 per in California. Same day. Final day of a coast-to-coast (to-coast, if you count the Great Lakes) bike trip. cn

Good ole talking points Buckie, Buckie want a cracker? LOL
Anyone that would buy into the fact that our gas prices fell because the economy plunged, doesn't know jack shit about economics but I'm sure the intelligent people on here already caught that.

go ahead and explain why gas prices plunged suddenly and violently in complete lockstep with the recession without citing the recession, clayton.

this promises to be interesting.

The wholesale price of crude dropped Einstein, how interesting was that? LOL

cite it, clayton.

might also want to explain why the wholesale price of crude dropped so suddenly and violently.

Gas prices here were at just above four bucks a month ago. Then, three weeks ago, they spiked up to $4.60 in about a week, and have been steadily dropping. Today I saw $4.25, so the spike has not yet been fully undone. I see no downtrend. cn
