Started germing 12 feminized seeds for my grow box starting this week. Heres the run down:
5 Female Seeds "White Widow"
5 Nirvana Seeds "Papaya"
1 Reserva Privada "OG Kush" (Freebie)
1 DNA Genetics "Cannalope Kush" (Freebie)
I used the paper towel method and kept the strains seperate. Put em between paper towels with warm water and rather than using plates I wrapped them in aluminimum foil.
I started them on 11/9 (Friday) at 8pm. It is now 11/11 (Sunday) 12PM, these are my results so far:
White Widow: 0/5 sprouted
Papaya: 4/5 sprouted
OG Kush: 0/1 sprouted
Cannalope Kush: 1/1 sprouted
Any sprouts are still quite small and have not come very far out of the yet, but I have a few questions as I am still a novice with only a couple small grows under my belt.
I planned on planting Monday 11/12 at around 2PM, should I have any problems doing so at my planned time, or must I do something with the seeds that have already sprouted. I have read everywhere that if you leave them in the paper towel too long they attach to it and then when you remove the seed, small micro roots rip off and you stunt the growth of the seedling until it heals itself.
Just looking to do whats best for my little seedlings in anticipation of the grow starting.
I will be keeping a grow log as I go, should be a fun time.
