Getting pissed off

Hi,
God knows what's happening! I have a 60x60x120 tent and a 300w Led i know it's to big for the tent but on on minimum setting it should be OK. I germinate the seed np, from tissue to coming out the soil in 5 days I looked again this morning and they have died! I've killed about 6 seeds now and my super lemon haze is the only one that is doing OK ( albeit a little slow) why are all the others dying? This is my first time starting off in a tent, normally I start on a window sill but my house is a little cold and I wanna start off in winter hence using a tent. My temps are 23 to 24 and humidity about 50. I water when the soil looks dry, I just don't understand why one is doing OK but in my opinion slow and the others arnt making it.

Unless the soil is poison they should prosper through the first few sets of leaves with little to no input other than minimal water. And adequate light. How much are you watering and how often? What soil and lighting?

That light looks real far away and is it 53% rh in there. That with those wet pots on fresh seeds they drown. What soil is that your using. You want to use a real loose soil lots of perlite. It’ll be very aerated soil that doesn’t retain a lot of its water the humidity does most your watering. Or use the moss pellets they work real well for seeds.

Ditch the terra cotta pots and use something that can be sanitized, like poly. Also raise the plants up off the floor of the tent.

300w lumatek led which I know is a bit much for a small tent but the light is turned down to about 40%. The soil seems to dry out quite quickly hence I water when it's dry but it's proberly to much. The soil is multi- purpose compost which I have grown jn before and had no problem. I used to start then off on the window sill and and had no problem but because of the time of year and my house can be bit on the chilly side I opted for a tent. I think it way be over watering as I'm new to starting in a tent

Start them in rapid rooter plugs.
Or if you can only start then in dirt, at least use a solo cup with a few holes in the bottom.

watering in an environment like compost means high water retention, which means less watering. I'd give them a good 2-3 days in between waterings and only use a shot glass of water each time, if that. I typically only use a spray bottle for the first week or so.

Thanks for all the replies, I've ordered some bio bizz light mix and I'm gonna have to learn to keep my watering under control by the sounds of it. It's gonna be trial and error but as the only seeds I can get are bought ones its gonna cost me a few more quid yet

Green House Seeds. Amsterdam. One of the oldest craft breeders and still in business. Their feminized seeds produce some good bud cheap. I do mean cheap. Check out Great White Shark and Big Bang by them. One is a past High Times Cannabis Cup winner and the other could be.

Overwatered and the light is too intense, turn it down to 25%

Edit: When they are babies I don't even water them with a watering can or anything, I just get a cup of water and sprinkle some water on top with my fingers and or use a Syringe

Your humidity is also too low, you want to be aiming for around 60 - 70% at this point, you can pick up a inkbird humidistat and a humidifier for around $100

Also, your temps are a little bit low, you want to be aiming for around 27 - 28c

Your super lemon haze plant looks fine, I've grown those out a bunch of times and it looks totally normal for a super lemon haze seedling, just go easy on the watering and you should be fine :bigjoint:
