GMO pot on the way

Companies can operate in multiple countries and in those who are not in the UN(where anti drug agreements have been made), so if this is true it really isn't surprising...
So whats the legal way they get it into the US, I'm pretty sure the feds still consider that drug trafficking. ?

Any big company like phillip morris entering the cannabis game is good news for everyone. Those companies spending marketing dollars to promote cannabis will help it become legal everywhere.

They will probably try to splice the genes for nicotine into it so they can make it physically addictive like tobacco.

I look at all GMO's as a direct violent attack on the health and well being of my family. I wish there were some reasonable response but I don't figure the people making these choices with my food and earth deserve a whole lot more respect than a drunk driver on a playground.

Best solution I got is put a bunch of hemp males anywhere near there crops you can.

I think we're fucked either way. When you have our politicians and Supreme Court justices in the back pocket of these big corporations there's not much that can be done. Grow your own fruits and veggies (+ weed), buy a few hens for eggs, support local non GMO farmers and try to limit the shit you buy at the grocery store. That seems to be the only way to avoid it

That's how we do it at our house. 4 hens and a nice veggie herb and fruit garden. get a lot of our other fruits and veggies from door to door organics. our raw milk and grass fed hormone free beef comes from hill high dairy near Columbiaville. for the most part the rest of our food comes from whole foods and when we can eastern market. although you need to pay attention at eastern market as there are a lot of booths just selling retail fruits and veggies you could just go get from Kroger.

So who permitted them to do the work on this development since 2011? Is it just me or would anyone else be jailed for admitted something like this? {imo they should be jailed on the gmo grounds alone} Money green lights murder. Money money money.
Since the beginning of humanity bro. Nothing has changed.

The wealthy can and will always break the laws of society. Hell look at Richard Nixon's most famous quote about the Watergate scandal. It was something to the effect of, "the law doesn't apply when it's the US President breaking the law". It wasn't worded in that direct way, but same context. We have so much to be thankful for of Tricky Dick Nixon. The modern day drug war, eroding of constitutional rights, militarization of the police force against it's own citizens, abandonment of the monetary gold standard, murdering god knows how many American Citizens and Vietnamese in the forsaken war known as Vietnam. I just went and depressed myself, FUCK!

At least when Adolf Hitler wrought his havoc and devastation upon us, we had the decency to close in on him and his conspirators and put them down like the evil scum they were. Nixon went on to resign from office in utter shame and humiliation and then carried on as if here were some kind of fucking Statesmen a la Benjamin Franklin. Monsanto is just like the rest of the corporations and wealthy who are above us peasants. Evil and full of power.

Do you have to sign a contract to buy it?

What if my outdoor grow just happens to get pollinated then I owe them a crop.

And what if I find a seed in my bud, am I allowed to grow it?

And I know I try to grow organic for a reason, I can't imagine GMO buds being very good.
They'll just do to you what they do to the farmers and sue you for theft of intellectual property. Welcome to the United Corporations and complicit Government of America :)

They'll buy off enough legislators and FDA personell to put it on the market somehow. That's the joy of being wealthy and powerful dude; you just buy the people off you need to accomplish the goals you want to achieve while the rest of society plays by "the rules". Welcome to the real world, it's good to have you :)

That is the ideal way to live bungle. If only we can convince the rest of the 280(?) million Americans, and then we'll be on the right track.

It will be fun to watch how they skate around how they were able to develop genetics" legally" with no R&D facilities in a legal state. I totally agree that anything can happen if you have enough money. I enjoy the completely illogical explanations that are given out.

As the other individual mentioned, they'll just build facilities in countries that aren't part of the UN narcotics treaty (or whatever crap they call it), and voila, free reign to conduct their evil.

Look at the tobacco companies for instance, since big tobacco got ass fucked and sued by the States in the 90's over the health care costs incurred by the States they outsourced their evil to other developing nations.

Now that the tobacco industry has lost so much money in the North American market, they have just reallocated their resources and god awful practices that have been banned in America to poor 3rd world countries all for the sake of profits and keeping shareholders happy.

Why? Because those countries are either too stupid to know what's coming down the road, or the Government officials in charge just accept bribes like our politicians do and then allow Corporations to perpetrate their evil upon their population. And the world continues to spin.

Within a few months my garden will be almost completely sustainable. My families diet is probably 90% gmo free. The food I feed my worm farm is free of pesticides and gmos. I have tried really hard to cater our diet and shopping to not support these people. I have an aquaponics setup (barely, fucked it up good) which should provide constant organic vegetables and some tasty bluegill too.

I think if people work together we can eliminate most of the GMO business. I also try to keep my money away from the war machine and most any evil operation.

The aquaponics should be kicking ass next spring. 8000 lb of gravel tested our construction skill and we fail hard. 99 out of 100 blue gill died. Ha. That one left must be a tough fucker! I'm gonna turn him into a taco someday.

Will be finishing the greenhouse by fall.

You sound like an amazing individual. I aspire to one day to live as you do, self sustaining. The grocery stores are superficial and full of 95% factory made processed garbage and the other 5%, well that remaining 5% are the GMO vegetables and the hormone filled and antibiotic filled meat they sell. Don't even get me started on farm raised salmon..FUCK!

What bliss it must be to live in ignorance like the sheeple that occupy our population. I'm happy I'm an intuitive human being that just wants to live in harmony with my planet and fellow human beings. If only there were time to explain this shit to the rest of the apathetic morons in our society. Unfortunately they care more about the new fucking Iphone that they don't need or the new episode of "crappy whatever" that's coming on TV tonight that will not enrich their lives nor educate them; just more junk food for the mind, so they remain nice little apathetic sheeple.
