12/12 has absolutely nothing to do with outdoor growing. That is for indoor only.
And btw...I wouldn't put them outside without hardening them off. You will risk sun bleaching and burn. However yes they would stay in flower.

I fully agree with GG. If I was going to wait for 12/12 it would be September 25th in lower MI. image.png

I need 60ish days so late November harvest won't work. There not pumpkins. Lol

I'm in the D and I thought bloom was supposed to start about 2nd week in August and finish up in Oct. sometime....well that's what I was told i'm new to the outside deal. But looking at the other post then you put up 12/12 is in Sept. So I don't know lol

Thanks. Not bad for a noob like me. So what are your thoughts on my nute issue? Should I change to bloom or stay with veg? The soil actually had geraniums there before I replaced them with my clone. Unfortunately no other prep. Good dirt though.

It's just strain specific with the time but about now is right. Like GG said. Forget everything you know about 12/12 when outside. In my opinion too.

I've been giving them bloom ferts for 3 weeks now. I also gave them a light dose of some N for the last time too so that they don't yellow up too much. My bloom fert has no nitrogen at all in it.

Could be 12/12, could be 14/10, it's all strain specific IMO but when asked if after running 12/12 then throwing it out into 14.5 hours of light there is a chance it could reveg. We are down to 14 hours and my plants are just showing preflowers.... Gonna be a late one lol.

I've been feeding a balanced nutrient on all my plants 5,5,5 I believe and the auto's are just about finished and faded just as any plants that were fed bloom nutes in the past, I would have thought they would have stayed green longer but thinking normal fade is just part of the plants natural finish. My last indoor was fed a balanced nutrient from start to finish and there was no difference in yield.

Or maybe not given the change in schedule. Again it's strain dependant but there is a possibility it may try to reveg I would think but is it gonna screw it up? Doubt it.

Thank you i think i will move them this weekend then all i have to worry about is deer rabbits but i would rather risk that than lose it all to bugs can't wait to finish remodeling our house to move in going to have a sin tunnel in my grow room free 400 to 600 watts of light on a sunny day. It's like a tunnel skylight supplemental light also veg room may be small closet but my wife let me have to utility room well part of it 6x6 area after all my inspections those walls go up sun tunnel goes in only problem is in flower I'll have to close the light off and be consistent cause i can build but an automated sliding cover is over my head lol framed half a garage today. I'll have ro water right in tyne room vent out through the roof

To carify
finish times are of course strain dependent. That's why they place harvest dates on breeding pages. Some are late sep (usually indicas), others are October (usually hybrids), while some are even into November(usually sativas).
Placing a plant in flower outside that has been used to being under 12/12 in a 14.5 hour light might or might not re veg. But it can be covered so that it is in light dep.

Well yes there is all ways that lol. Have you tried? It's a real pain in the ass lol. All I was saying is there is a possibility that it could happen, will it? I have no clue and pretty hard to say :). I've been growing outdoors for over 40 years and still learning :).

Just an FYI some auto's can be very good. I thought auto's were crap until this last one (think different) which is right up there with a lot of photo's I've grown. The huge bonus is it's done now :). I would probably not consider one for indoors but for outside, if good their a great early plant :).
