Yes, it most certainly is... all coming together I'm thinking about 2 - 2.5 weeks of veg with the new nutes...Then I'm planning to use Botanicare Bloom as well

Mount4in: Looking good there man, They just wee little ones.. the hardest thing to do when they're like that is to leave them alone.. lol.. I know its sounds crazy but its true.. It took Wolfman and BigD and me losing my first seedling to learn but none the less, I'm glad you have learnt from my mistake OR you just smarter to start LOL... Either way, looking good !! So guys I pretty much said what I wanted to say in my previous post.. This coming saturday should be watering day of course I'll be checking the soil first to decide whether its Sat or Sun. What are your opinions on how much longer to veg ? I mean I was planning to grow them till about 12 - 15 inches.. but at this rate, that might be a few more months.. lol.. although now with SuperThrive and Botanicare that might all change rather quickly.. We shall see.. plenty of road ahead in this race...

Anyway I just got home from work, I'm a go eat me something and smoke a bowl of the new stuff I picked up tonight and then I'll take some pics of the ladies and another one of the Botanicare so you guys can see the back and what not..

8/28 Evening Update

Evening everyone, hope you all had a great day ! I 100% did, lol.. Not Only did I get paid, I got to go buy some SuperThrive and Botanicare PureBlend Pro Veg andddddd and a nice half ounce, lol

On to the good stuff.. So I opened the box up when I got in, not expecting to see too much new growth but just my daily "standard" leaves a bit bigger stems a bit bigger but nothing too drastic.. well...one more time.. well.. I almost crapped myself when I opened the box this evening. From 11am - 8pm tonight my plants grew more than any single other day or stretch. I'm serious when I say I almost crapped myself.. I kept saying holy crap when I was taking the pics.. can't wait to post this.. these guys gotta see what happened today.. Maybe the ladies had like a psychic feeling that nutes are coming.. lol I dunno.. Thats about it for my blabbing tonight as I have a good 10 or 11 pictures for you guys..

Wow FT your thread is taking off man! =] ... lol I need to type out some things and keep reading back before I forget lol..

Here goes..

I've heard of the gas giving off by riping fruit, and the science is definitely there... the only debate has been whether or not fruit gives off enough of the gas to truly effect the sexual development of a plant or it was just a matter of chance... after all your chance are 50/50 to begin with.... It sure wouldn't hurt to try and from what I've been reading too.. it looks like people are having good results... it's going to be interesting to see what happens with you experiment FT =]



Taking notes is an excellent point... You have to at least keep a calendar.. I admit that I don't take as many notes as I should... I'm going to get a notepad and pen right next to my cab as a reminder.

Pruning as you clone is also a good idea.

Pantyhose as a prefilter a great idea!

I'm using just blooming nutes for both veg and bloom... it the pureblend pro which is 99% organic and has worked better then what my expectations were... I'm sure a good organic blooming nute should works just as well with soil.... but from what i've read in the forums, people are also having great results with general fertilizer... I think what ever you end up getting will only have a positive effect so there is no need to stretch the budget too much.

Store rockwool in a dry place. I got mine in a plastic bag.. I keep the back under my bed.

On the carbon filter "pillows"... They should work, but may be more restrictive... Using the cups, gives you more surface area, there for less restrictive... I say go ahead and make the pillows, put them on and see how much air is still being moved... if you find it too restrictive, you could just take them apart.

lol on the superthrive... yes their claims are exaggerated... but the stuff is definitely worth the $10. Like anything els... it can burn your plants, but only if you make the mistake of feeding them too much... the stuff is concentrated so measure by drops.

The girls are looking great... and I'm hoping to have some time to make that time lapse after this weekend.. I think it's going to be tight.


lol I just saw were you got the pureblend progrow... Like i siad I've been using the probloom and it has worked great in both veg and bloom, so i think you are going to be happy with it.

One thing to say about Botanicare's mixing directions are off!!... I would start them with 1 tsp per gallon.. and slowly work your way up from there.. also keep in mind that you will be adding a drop of superthrive.

By the way nice score on the 1/2 oz. =]

Wolfman, as per usual I couldn't ask anymore of your awesome posts.. Thanks for the info man good thing I got the same nute line so we can talk. I do intend on buying the Bloom pro for Flowering as well !

So to recap for my watering Saturday or Sunday I will be mixing:
1 gallon of Distilled Water
1 tsp of Pureblend Pro
1 Drop of Super Thrive
Shake Like Crazy.. Feed to HK only..

TH is getting the other fertilizer as my experiment.. although it might be wise to feed them the same stuff incase ones female and the other god forbid isn't.. Hmm.. not sure on that one.. either way I'm going to mix up that mixture tomorrow and let it sit a few days that way I can let it sit and mix and then make a final pH check.

Hey FT, just a thought... TH looks a little stretched at the bottom. have you thought about putting more soil in the pto ti fill in the area without leaves? if you know what i mean lol... It'll give it mroe strength and the plant will grow more roots along the stem that is burried, making it able to use more water. Just a thought. I did something like this with a few plants, but because its in the ground I just planted them deeper

Yeah its funny you mentioned that because I was considering tossing some soil around the base.. however I checked the stem yesterday before bed..it looks small but its actually about as strong feeling as a toothpick !! BUt we'll see I might give it a shot anyway...

8/29 Morning Update

GgGgGgGoooD Morning Everyone !!!

Whats up ppl ?!? Pissy weather here today all nasty dark skies and rainy outside and shit.. nothing makes me wanna go to work more than shitty weather, lol.. looks like its time for a .....

Ok I'm back and calm and ready for an update !!
Well after yesterdays impressive new growth, I wasn't really expectnig too much this morning and the ladies seem to do more growing during the day in the light when I'm not here than over night.. which I would figure would be the opposite and maybe the reason why I'm using 18/6 instead of 24/0 but either way as long as they're growing I'm happy !!

So this lines for Kludge (if your still around) I took 2 side by side shots today to really try and show you the real good differences in my plants and maybe to help you figure out what your mixed bunch are !

Alright so HK is looking bushier and bushier each day and now thats shes starting to branch out a bit as well I'm expecting big things in the coming days and weeks outta that plant. Even if "Ganja Forbid" shes a male, it'll still be one healthy happy beautiful looking plant.. just a fuckin useless one,
lol. I do wonder though for someone more xperienced to answer...HKs leaves in comparisson to THs are a little bit droopy could this be becasue they are A) Bigger leaves ? B) Needing more Water ? C) Needing Less water ? D) Just genetics.... I think I've been really good with watering since the loss of SS so I'm not sure what up.. Hoping its A or D but I'll wait for you guys to tell me your opinions as well.

TH is still looking good, I'm now starting to lean back a bit more towards her being 60/40 Sativa as shes growing much slower than HK. And as we all know as a GENERALITY Sativas are much slower growing than Indicas so thats where my comment comes from. Now in saying that I have nothing negative to say about TH shes looking great just moving a bit slower. This leads me to a question I was pondering last night.. Shall I drop my 20-20-20 (1/4 strength) diet for TH and just use the Botanicare Pureblend Pro on her ? I mean as I stated last night, what if I'm donig all this crazyness to her and again "ganja forbid" shes my only female.. All the experimenting could herm her or stress her and since I am aiming for a healthy mom maybe I should just treat her normal and leave the experiments for something thats not as vital as nutes will be...
