Growing Indoors In The Winter HID LIGHTS

To all those who live in colder areas what are some of the precautions you take with your lights. I read a post somewhere where they strongly advised growing in the winter. What do you think about this? People obviously are not going to stop growing in the winter. Any opinions/suggestions.

u can combat the heat the hids create a lot better in colder climates. ie yields wiill be better during winters if ur shits dialed in. u can push more lights than in the summer without the use of a/c . just basic stuff.
