there are various ways to hook up your CFL's, but I am actually running a HID light, a 100 watt ceramic metal halide. you can mount a power strip to the wall and use the outlet style light sockets, and zip tie them to the power strip so they dont fall and break your plants. that is the most common way with a PC case. good luck

Time to re pot? I was planning on going straight to my one quart grow bag after the seedling sprouts too big for the plastic cup. Any reason no to go to the big bag sooner than later?

well mine is in its final home, about 1.5 quarts. when you put them in larger containers when they are small some say it is difficult to control moisture, and they have to expand the roots. they will fill up a smal cup with roots faster then become better established so they dont get the same shock going to the larger container. i think...

Hey fellow growers! Almost great news! I checked the plants before bed last night and the beat up ass bag seed looked to be spitting out a couple white hairs, YEA! :) should know better by tonight, but she isn't even in 12/12 yet, last night was 11 hours dark, and today will be 13 hours light. I thought about leaving it at 13/11 for a bit, but I will go ahead and move it to 12/12 over the course of the next 2 days as planned. After all she's been through, she must be a female to be that stubborn!!

I prefer to gradually decrease from veg times to flower times. I am doing 30 minutes less light each day. I prefer to do 15 minutes a day but worried that my small space would become overwhelmed if I vegged too long. Riddleme did 10 or 15 minutes less each day and I think his showed pre-flowers at 14/10. I think its less stressfull. And if you think about it, all indoor times are odd times compared to outdoor. I mean there are very few places on earth that get 18 hours of light a day. We indoor growers are god over our gardens though, so we may do as we like.
