High ph after compost feeding

You can grow your plants however you see fit. However, ph'ing water in los is not needed. In some cases your killing microbes. If you have no microbes in your soil, then you're not really growing organically.
See this argument makes sense to me. I can see where calling it not organic makes sense, but does that mean what I do is unnecessary? I cant stop doing it now and expect the microbes to return can I? Ive thought about trying to experiment woth one by not phing, but i didnt want to risk fucking it up since what I was doing had been working. Its working great on my current grow as well.

If it ain't broke, then don't fix it. You can reinoculate the soil anytime you want. Honestly, living organic soil is so fucking easy, it almost makes me feel guilty. The most I have to do is top dress every couple weeks with ewc, dry amendments( I use bas craft blend), a lil grokashi and non ph'd water. I'll admit I use ro water because my tap is crazy high calcium, but that's it. Compost tea every couple weeks. My girls have never looked better or been happier. :bigjoint:

All I do is feed once a week and water every 3 days or when the soil is dry. Literally it. When I flower I switch my nutrients to a low nitrogen blend of the same brand. I'll be doing a lot more work with this grow, more plants.

What exactly is compost tea? I've read on it a little, but I'm not sure my plants can benefit from it considering I do use ph up and down. Do you have any pics of your girls?

I top dress with build a flower in flower. I water daily but with los you only want to water 5%...10% tops. Right now I use fabric pots, so it dries out a lil faster. I mulch so the top retains moisture pretty well.

You water daily with less water? I guess you dont want organic soil to completely dry out then?

Compost tea... or aact... is compost or ewc, molasses and water. Aerate those in a bucket for 24 hours. It'll boost microbial life in soil and give a lil fast acting nutes. Once microbial life is established you won't need to ph. In my case, it's much less stressful. I've done dwc so I've done the whole ph,ppm(ec) thing. It's cool but it's a PITA. I'm on the road this week so I don't have pics with me, but I'll post some when I get home. I'm not an expert by any means, but this is the way I've learned and so far I think it rocks. I'm working my way to no till. That's even easier.

Aint no one trying to prove anything except you trying to prove you know the only correct way to grow cannabis. Reality check, ya dont. And if this man wants advice on something that has been working for him, who are you to tell him he is absolutely wrong? You CAN absolutely ph in an organic grow. Period. Regardless of my results, show me that it doesn't work. I invite you.
What soil are you using by chance?

So I could easily switch to organic simply by using compost tea and reintroducing microbes into the medium. Living soil. And with living soil, you're supposed to feed the soil and not the plant, correct? If youre having a deficiency in organic soil, it can simply mean your microbes arent working correctly or are dead? And thats why I see people watering with molasses. I didn't get it. Lol. It just didnt make sense to me to put sugar in my soil for ants to find. Lol.

I started off with ffhf but with everything I've added, it's not really ffhf anymore. Lol....I just got an earth box, and I've ordered bas 3.0 to start it off. I'm a bas junkie. Takes the guesswork out of it for me, but you can source everything yourself if you want to save money. Bas can be a lil pricey.

Yea pretty much. Molasses is to feed the microbes. In essence your growing your soil. The soil takes care of growing the plant.
