yeah it would be, but mine will be a bone-in center cut loin; sides will be root veggies(beets, rutabaga, etc). Rosemary, garlic and mandarin slices all over the roast

My ex made a goose one Xmas, it was good but she used all the fat/drippings for gravy and we all got monster heart burn; way too much fat lol

Yeah they're a bit pricey. I'm not sure how much we paid I'll have to get back to you on that.
The low and slow approach is always effective when in doubt I say. I've cooked duck, rabbit and venison so I'm going to give it my best shot with the bit I know from that. Will post back with a picture and update for sure.
Usually this time of year I'm cooking up a storm. I have some pork belly in the freezer maybe I'll just make some Mu Grob (thai crispy pork belly)
My mom always made a Syrup pie. It was a holdover from the depression. It tasted a lot like a Pecan pie sans pecans.

Sounds like Old fashioned cream pie yum I don’t think there’s anything in it except sugar.
This used dark Karo syrup, sugar, flour and butter. I guess it would be good for people with nut allergies.
