Hey, noob, start yer own threadhi every one i have a 3 week old plant and its about 1ft and i am giving it 24 hour light is that to much light please get back as i am realy keen to find out
Bro thats a really good way to look at it.. It actually make growing easier. I never thought of it like that until i read what you typed. Thanks! Happy TokingI totally agree with bigballin007, I try to mimick mother nature, I think you'd be hard pressed to improve on her.
I think it would just grow alot more, the hotter the plant is the more water it needs. If it get nutes from it water it'll be huge.has anyone tried with more than a 24 hour light schedule? like say 36 on 12 off? just curious if anyone has tried alternate schedules and what effects it might of had.
Nope sorry you will just have 1 screwed up plant.I think it would just grow alot more, the hotter the plant is the more water it needs. If it get nutes from it water it'll be huge.
do you say this because you have tried or have some evidence to back it up? or do you say this because you think thats what the case will be?Nope sorry you will just have 1 screwed up plant.
Yes I would haft to agree! I tried different hours like that and they either get tall and shrink, no leaves and die after a while. Best to keep 24hrs or 18/6 at first then 12/12Well its common sense that interrupting the flowering cycle will stress the plant which leads to herming. The plant will be going in and out of flowering, i cant imagine a worse thing for a plant. It like seeing what happens if you throw your car into reverse while driving forward.
CORRECTIONhas anyone tried with more than a 24 hour light schedule? like say 36 on 12 off? just curious if anyone has tried alternate schedules and what effects it might of had.
Never heard of plants releasing toxins at night, they release co2.I was told that plants release toxins at night and needed at least a couple of hours dark per day. I've tried it myself and haven't really seen a difference. Next grow I'll use two veg boxes and see if there is a difference.
