After I trimmed just a couple days ago, and layed up under the screen. I realized the whole base of the screeen is ganna be like, a layer of nug. the branches are woven in there together so tight its like a layer of nug! I trimmed soooooo many fan leaves to open up all the colas and let the bottom of the screen get light. BB is getting scared of what might become of this beast.
sounds great! i am very interested to know how much you will yield, seems like a very good method.

Sometimes when I'm really stoned, I threaten my plants. "You better grow bigger nugs than that if you want me to stomp the shit out of you," or something like that. I never do this when anyones around though, and it's probably not normal.
you ever sing to them? plants are supposed to love music right! or just noise in general. i plan on sitting with my guitar and serenading some beautiful females... :joint:

My plants seem to like Project Pat and Juicy J. Why? Because that's what I like. And if they don't like what I like, they know the tragic outcome of that.

billy bob this is a great example of a scrog for newbies like myself. i have done alot of reading journals and posts, grow faq, ect. and your journal has helped me make sense of all of it!!

i have a few questions though maybe you could help me understand the scrog a little better?
do you start training the plants into the screen befor or after you start flowering?
And i dont fully inderstand how this produces so many main kolas?

feel free not to answer i just find this thread really inspiring and have not been able to make sense of the scrog through any of the research i have done.

Thanks man, i trained my plants for 6-7 weeks i think before i started flowering. then trained for another 2 weeks into flowering and stopped. They were also 2 weeks old when i put them under the screen.

It produces so many colas becasue everything is on the same plane, the canopy is even. thats why top colas get biggest cause they get the most light i believe. In a scrog u put all the branches on the same plane, so everything is gettin max light, thus producing the top colas effect on every branch.

Coming along good might have pics tonight or tommorow. did some more trimming.
