I usually grow 12 to 18 plants outside in the ground. Last year there were only 10, but I had to trim by myself. Outdoor plants in Oklahoma can get HUGE, like 10 to 12 feet tall and just as wide.

I trimmed full time for 3 weeks and then called in someone else and just gave them about half, which was about half the crop, just to haul it off. Those that were supposed to grow with me didn't show for the growing and were "too busy to trim". I finally just told them to get lost and didn't even pass a joint with them.

Now there are two plants outside and one auto for a house plant. If the two outdoor plants make budd that's more than I can use and I'm a heavy hitter.

Why grow these giant crops it it's 10 times what you can use and there's a pantry, freezer, and closet full that will get old before it can be used.

Yea I remember those days running in and out of corn fields with industrial garbage bags hauling them out to the road and loading up trucks! I actually kinda miss those days.
We were into doing high spots in swamps and marshes , overgrown riverbanks , and forgotten pieces of land . Forgotten meaning odd overgrown lots in industrial parks , areas surrounding or behind commercial buildings that were all thorns , poison ivy and appeared impossible to move through .

Hip waders , canoes , duck boats and carefully planned drop offs and pick ups were our mo . Did a lot of belly crawling in the spots that were in suburbia . Coon trails and ticks....

Had several close calls with various cops , troopers and game wardens but we all had our shit planned and our stories straight . No deviation allowed . Some spots we'd bring a beagle and let him run rabbits while one of us would stay behind and another would do the work . In the event things got hinky you'd whistle and call for the dog , that was the signal to stop whatever you were doing and hunker down .

Had a state trooper 20 feet away from 50+ lbs once . A good reason to be where we were and the both of us staying calm and sticking to the plan and we gave a friendly wave and smile while waving "goodbye !" . Thankfully neither of us shit our pants !

Pulled over by another trooper on a country road at night with a trunk full of dried bud . Calm , yes sir , so sir , "no shit sir !" and on my way.....

It was exciting , profitable , and FUN AS HELL ! The guys I grew with were trustworthy to a fault , it was like a 4 man mafia , we were all for one and one for all . Still best friends today , more like brothers . To say I miss it would be an understatement .

I make hash, and press it, bho, and been experimenting trying to make diamonds. Having too much isn't a problem it's the other way around that sucks!

My trick now is to simply trim anything that doesn’t have a big of sugar and leave the sugar leaves. Saves me loads of time

Then when I roll a joint just pluck em off or keep them for a bit more cbg

Dry or wet trimming?

I prefer dry trimming it's more convenient for me.

I'm not a huge fan of scissors or trimming shears they require too much guidance/effort and accuracy all combined to give a sore forearm and hand.

I can average 150g per hour with pointy thing held like a pen, if you're dry trimming give a try.
The cannabrush works really well. It's an added expense but around 20 bones isn't too bad. I have a trim bin and collect a bit of a dry sift treat while I'm final trimming

i hate it soo much that after i fill the fridge i hang dry the rest untrimmed and press it in oil XD

how good is that bud trimmer do you need to do lots of preparing to use it or do you just trow all in?
So I've always wet trim anyway, I might have a different view if I dry trimmed.

But I take a branch, remove fans, take the buds off and throw em in.
5 turns one way, 5 the other and it's done
