i dont like it when the holes are that big,i like the smaller holes bc i like to break the bud up small,that way i smoke the whole bowl.

the smaller holes clog up sooner but hey,whats 1min of cleanin vs 1month of solid smoking

if you don't suck on it like an 5 dollar crack whore you won't get ash in your mouth. you gotta to hit it with eeeease.

i had a buddy that would torch the fuck outta my pipe load. i load up a fat bowl of the sticky and try to take little "corner hits". a nice smooth hit were you just light the edge of the bowl. it burns slow and cool. hit it really easy. my buddy grabs it and flames the shit outta it. then he dumps it halfway thru and tells me to "pack another one".

I know but hittin' it with ease is not my style and even then you can still get ash in your mouth. I have a glass pipe but I hardly use it. If I'm going out I just roll a few J's. I do like to collect glass art though :mrgreen:

i would soooo burn the hell out of myself. even the guy in that vid looks like he has a burn on his left arm.

i really don't get why he flattened just the 'body' of that pipe... while the bowl is still symetrical. that kinda ruined it for me.

i have greater respect for the time it might take to create some of the pipes/bongs i've seen though. I really don't have that much patience.

that blue/clear pipe you posted last looks sweet though FDD, hopefully you've found a way to oven-fire it or what have you so that it don't crack. You could proudly smoke some kind in that pipe.

DaGam, I would have left the body fully round but that's just me. I think the vid is decent for learning the process, also it was a lot better last year when he had Zeps Dazed and Confused as the audio track.

i have a few basic hand tools that a friend hooked me up with. that's all you really need. i dropped a glowing marble on the back of my hand. it seared it white with a black spot in the center. i have a large top loading kiln. once i start making "real" pieces i will load a bunch up and fire them all together. i'm looking for a bench top kiln as well.
