I use subcool's soil recipe with fantastic results.
Ingredients:
8 large Bags of a high-quality organic potting soil with coco fiber and mycorrhizae (i.e., your base soil)
25-50lbs of worm castings
5 lbs steamed bone meal
5lbs Bloom bat guano
5lb Blood Meal
3lbs Rock Phosphate
3/4 cup Epson Salts
1/2cup sweet lime (dolomite)
1/2 cup azomite (trace elements)
2 Tsp powdered humic acid
Not sure to be honest - I use the ratio of the ingredients rather than the exact measurements as I don't need that much mix for a run.how many pots will that fill? and what gallon(s)?
FF is not an option in some areas, mine included unless one doesn't mind paying outrageous UPS charges for outrageously priced dirt. Its easier and cheaper for me to build my own.Try out some fox farm peace of mind added to your soil.
peace of mind is actually a fertilizer, which is very good i preferFF is not an option in some areas, mine included unless one doesn't mind paying outrageous UPS charges for outrageously priced dirt. Its easier and cheaper for me to build my own.

DAMN bro thats a big mix! lol im currently looking in my area for all this stuff so i dont have to pay shipping on all of it!use peace of mind products. They are fortified with bacteria and fungi, benes of course
Use peat moss, mix in worm casts. 30 percent or so. Same with perlite. Use the chunkly stuff.
Add one tbsp of blood and kelp meal to a gallon of soil
use 2 tbsp of bone meal to a gallon of soil.
Mix this is a trash can or rubbermaid. Well MIX it on a tarp then store this in a rubbermaid. Make sure you wet it with some molasses and water to a moist degree so as it can "cook" and therby establish a soil food web with living bacteria and myco to help the plant. The organisms will break down the organics in the soil so the plant can eat. The more the merrrier. The plant decides how much.
It takes a few months or a month at least to "cook".
Search here, or google LC's Soiless Mix #1 or LC's Soiless Mix #2DAMN bro thats a big mix! lol im currently looking in my area for all this stuff so i dont have to pay shipping on all of it!
in what rations would you use those? If you want to stay local -LOWES
Peat moss(already ph'd)
coco bricks
perlite
pulverized lime
blood meal
bone meal
bio-tone(fungi-bacteria)
i prefer guano's over blood and bone meal which you can order cheap off line.
I also forgot some compost(mushroom)in what rations would you use those?
for sure. thanks man. happy growings to ya.I also forgot some compost(mushroom)
30% peat
30% coco
30%perlite
10% compost
per gallon of soil add
1tbs blood meal
1tbs bone meal
1 tbs lime
1/2c bio-tone (or what ever it says on the bag.)
The peat/coco/perlite numbers a pretty flexible, just keep the perlite high.
