If i harvest my bud without flushing for 2 weeks how will it taste?

ill put a end to this my bud will be done curing n a few day ima smoke it and let yall no how it taste and its not flushed
 
it will most likley tase slightly like npk lol icky dont not flush ur buds dude thats not healthy for u either

I agree that what you wrote does make sense also but.............

Do you have any links or evidence showing that this is actually what happens within the bud,if so please post them,i'd love to read some white paper type studies on the subject, if for nothing else than me having a bettter understanding of the plant i/we grow.

If you apply those theorys to common foods like a simple tomatoe the pratice is not done by farmers,wouldnt we all be eating tomatoes that taste like fertilizer ?

Ive searched hi & low for 2 years now for any scientific evidence showing this to be a fact & could find nothing that does not lead back to fertilizer manufacturers like Advanced Nutrients, which just so happens to sell products designed for flushing.
 
panhead you are spot on, its all about selling us shit we dont need,i dont ph or use proper nutes or check humidity or n e thing else but the bloody things just keep on growing.
 
I know, Panhead, I just realized I sounded like a hypocrite because I just gave the guy on the last page some shit for not citing his references. I have just heard it along the way and it stuck w/ me but I will try and find it again and let you know where to find that info.

And you do make a very valid point also. However let me say this-- if a tomato is smoked does it then need to be flushed? Chemically, burning produces different properties than say ingesting a mineral/chemical. Sorry,does this make sense? I just waked-n-baked.

What you say makes plenty of sense,the bad part is that we are forced to guess at these issues instead of having a working knowledge base to go from,thatks to our asshole government who refuses to release any information regarding these issues,or to fund & publish a study on the topic of growing marijuana,spending $50,000 a pop on studies on the best way to accomplish $20,000 worth of road work are more important issues to them.

The main problem i have with the issue of flushing is this,so many people have read the sales hype propaganda published by Advanced Nutrients & other snake oil fertilizer manufacturers that they've read so much they now quote as fact,which is far from the case.

Also along the same lines the guys who write these grow bibles like Jorge Cervantis & others tout the effects of flushing but can what they say be trusted ? these are men who have vested interests in advertising dollars being paid directly to their benifactors from the nutrient company's,they speak much to its benifit & outright nessacity but they never produce a single fact,they meerely repeat what they are told by the nutrient companys.

The nute companys tout the benifits of their products designed for flushing,they also tout all the scientific sounding reasons why their products are superior but they refuse to publish any information regarding testing methods or bias control,if the pratice was so benificial & their research showed that i'd think they'd jump at the chance to show their research papers so they could be peer reviewed.

I'll be skeptical until the day i see one peer reviewed white paper on the subject.
 
well put it like dis i just smoked .2 of the shit i didnt flush and got blowed and it did not taste bad at all
 
fuck me we are all guna die anyway, you smoke tobacco and have regular doses of cancer causing tar, you all probably have taken some fucked up drug from your doc which could have untold side affects, if your plant has that much fert in it it would be burned to crap so what a pointless conversation.
 
im gonna feed up to week 9 and let the last week just fill my reserviour with h2o not really flushing but weening them off the nutes
 
With my first grow I'd read contrasting opinions on whether to flush or not so I flushed one 2 weeks before and the other 2 DAYS before...

...The first plant whist curing smelt like bud from a dealer, and the 2nd smelt more like chemicals - they both TASTED pretty much the same and gave the same effect but I'm definately gonna flush 2 weeks before I pull from now on coz the pre-rolling smell/sniff is an important part of it if you ask me!

i use chemical for my 'light dep' grow outdoor and i just started using using molasses, what's wrong with that?
