If you could do it over again what would you change?

I was thiking one 1000w per room, but I like the idea of the t5's for veg and a couple or 600whps for flowering! save some money upfront and in the electric bill is always nice. My list has everything that yours does, and I will be using hydroton. And with a little luck I will be able to start with a few clones from a buddy, of a buddy lol. I forgot I can legally get seeds from the dispensary! woohoo haha

definitely trying to go all out, c02 will absolutely be in play. trying to figure out how to get it/set up. should I just buy the regulator and rent a tank from a local company? seems like with a 20lb tank you would go through a tank every 2-4 weeks. I need to do a but more research on this. and I have read good things about blue lab test equip. I don't mind splurging on nicer equip if it means I am not going to have to fuck with it or replace anytime soon lol. nice yeah your better off spending a couple bills on the PPM/PH meter because the cheap ones are junk.

remember for 12 plants 3 600w would be minimum man, dont skimp on lighting as its what makes or breaks a grow, it is THE most important part of growing.

i recomended 2x 600w for the veg because the veg plants will be smaller and a 600w can handle 6 each easily. the t5 rigs were more expensive than the 600w rig i linked. im not trying ot get you to spend money you dont have to trust me but i think bare minimum for 12 plants in flower and 12 plants in veg would be 5 600w lights.

if you like the idea of the T5HO lights then 2x 4ft 8 bulb T5HO would run you around 200 bucks each, they will save you money on electricity and wont produce as much heat. so the extra money you spend on them will save you in the long run.

and not sure if you have checked out my grow or not. the link is in my sig. im going to be harvesting my first 2 plants from this setup tonight. I am currently using 1 1000w HPS for a 4x6 room and i feel that i dont have enough light..

you want to be able to spread your plants out so they are not crowding each other, this is only going to make them block light from each other. i would suggest going out today and buying your buckets, your going to need them no matter what. then take them and place them on the floor and space them out so they have a good amount of room. then you can see how big your room should be and you can figure out what you want to do for lighting.

it your going to want to be able to walk around them without brushing up on them too much (only applies for flower room) because once they start producing buds and your rubbing on them buds your knocking trichomes off and your gonna stink like high hell.

and as far as the clones go, i recomend just spending 100 bucks on seeds from attitude seedbank, you know your getting what you order and you get to pick what you want out of an array of selections instead of being subjected to taking whats on hand from your friends friend.

you will also get a bunch of freebies to test run if you want. besides that people charge redicules prices for clones, for the price your gonna pay for 12 clones you could get 12 different strains and a bunch of seeds, with 5 packs of seeds you get to pick which pheno you like best out of each pack and clone from that.

if you dont know what pheno means you can google phenotype. but basically its like if you have a set of triplets, they all are identical fraternal which means the mother dropped 3 eggs instead of 1. same deal with seeds the mother plant produces many different seeds each carrying the same genetics.

well of the triplets one has blue eyes and blond hair, one has green eyes and brown hair and the other had brown eyes brown hair, these three children are of the same mother but cary different phenotypes...meaning different genetic traits are more dominant in each child. kinda a crappy explanation but i hope you get the point.

I cant wait for me to be in your shoes! so do you run those 600w hps/mh lights in the link? and do you run them with both bulbs in flower stage? and fuck it, no need to skimp on light if Im gonna drop over 3000$ on the whole project( that's including building the actual room) And if I get some ambition ill run over grab those buckets, I gotta clean the house before the wife gets home from work, or ill be homeless hahaha

i run the 1000w but its from the same company. i plan on picking up one of the 600w ballast verry soon for my veg tent.

If I were to start over I would grow the way I do now. Waterfarm, scrog screen, tent, HID. Easy with tons of bud.

how far along is your critical kush? is it one of the ladies coming down tonight? they are supposed to be pretty high yielding so that's why I went with them! plus DANKKKK

no the critical kush is still just a baby. about 3 weeks old now. still has a bit of veg time left.

nice..i almost grabbed some fruity chronic juice seeds... how much do you think u will harvest off those plants?

im hoping for 3-4 Oz off the fruity and for around 2 off the blue cheese, i didnt let them veg long enough and they arent as big as i could have let them get.

nice, one hour til chop time! so a few more questions, how is attitude with shipping? do you usually get your goodies within a few weeks? and second question is after your seeds have sprouted you put them in rockwool then into the propagator? sorry some of these questions are probably real novice haha but that's what I am. cant find many good videos on how they go from seed to veg on a hydro dwc system...can ya tell me how you do it if you don't mind?

i believe they germinate them in a paper tower and then once it has sprouted and the taproot is long enough they place it in a rockwool cube that has been soaking in a PH balanced solution.

your order should be shipped out by monday morning, generally takes about 10 business days to get to the east coast.

I usually get my attitude orders in 10-14 days, and they are great about shipping. I had one order that got raped by the border pigs, and attitude had the new order in the mail the following day after I sent them an email with a picture of the customs taped package.

As far as starting the seedlings in DWC goes your pretty well right on. Germinate your seeds, and get them in cubes. Then once you start seeing roots escaping the cubes put them into your DWC system. Pretty straight forward really.

at first you may need to keep the water level in your buckets pretty high while the roots seek out the water. then you can gradually lower it, cant let the rockwool dry out.
