if youve ever used a public defender it easily go two ways.. some are insanely good. i beat possession with intent from a pd. but then again ive had a pd come in with me right when im about to walk into the court room trying to find out my side of the case. your best bet.. look up everything you can about the laws you broke and try to find some loopholes. from what youre saying though. you should be alright.. also if thr car was your cousins. how did they not find him

Yep, definitely lawyer up because this could go very bad for you. They got hot guns and need to pin it on somebody, anybody. Deny everything. Plead not guilty and fight that shit to the bitter end. If you do end up doing a bid, they have pretty good GED classes in there now though.

You were the passenger, right? The two in the front ran. Your fingerprints are not on the gun. And the cops saw the two morons run I'm guessing? Any half way decent lawyer will get the gun charges dropped. Now the pot charges (in Arizona of all places) would probably be a bigger problem if they found it on your person. They treat it like crack in AZ from what I heard. Do try to get a lawyer if at all possible. If you get a crappy PD they may slap all the charges on you and then some while making you feel you're getting a good deal... It doesn't matter what actually happened - it's how it get presented in court of law, that is what American judicial system is all about. Good luck bro,

i got my ged in jail lmao. never took the classes. told em i did so they let me take it.. there was an essay question, "why people should utilize their time" when the people who read it got mine i hope they were laughing.. i had a lot to say being in jail and all lol..
i wouldnt even deny... i would just say NOTHING.
what was your bail?
and if you do get passed the beginning shit.. however your state works... and you need to go to a trial..
you want a jury trial so the county has to pay for it and you gotta have a good lawyer. theyll probably toss you a deal before they gotta take it to trial, but if its shitty keep pushing if your lawyer knows he/she can do better.

some of them arent just PD's.. thats not all they did/do. the one who got my PWID dropped to simple possession and disorderly conduct. she was a DA from another county that moved to my area and was doing public work on the side.. i lucked out, she dropped her card on me when i got off and told me if i ever need her help again call her office... so she was a real lawyer, and a beast at that. when i went in the court room i went from jail, they actually took off my shackles and it was just.. me, her, da, judge.. and the weird lady who types way to fast. i knew i was goin home that day lol

All the better. Some charges get tossed you plead to a lesser get put on probation and everyone wins ,everyone gets paid and you get to still sleep at home lol.

I used to be this guy (the OP), except I was logical, smart and sensible enough to know when to leave, or make a exit when hanging out with undesirable youth... White trash , Black trash ect....
When drug dealing , or hard drugs , or robbing people , stealing , car-hopping , having guns ; came about I would know to make a exit because I'm not a fucking idiot.
There isn't a single one of my old friends that doesn't have a criminal record. Do not hang around undesirables!
