yanno most of the things wrong with this country isnt up to the president, sure they claim they will do this and change that lol but they actually dont have the power. its just a way to get attention. we need to put more of our efforts towards the different areas of the government because thats where the real "CHANGE" is going to come from. take a political science class n it will make you more aware of who has the power to do what. we need to focus more on getting the money hungry people in the legislative branch in line. they are the ones who make everything the way it is, they dont vote on what we want them to but who sponsors them with the most money. maybe why marijuana is still illegal. check your states members of congress n check there voting record n what companies sponsor them... so all the things the president wants to happen isnt going to happen unless congress wants it too, sooooo what will come out of this election is prob going to be how long we are in iraq, cause thats where most of the power of the president sits and we just cant tear into a country, make it a wreck, then leave before its stable. that would make us, not just the president, assholes to the rest of the world. so to leave before we are finished or leave having made a better place on the planet? so what do these douche bags (both of them) claim they are going to make happen?

just my 2 cents on all this idiot or that idiot lol:-o

The problem is that the president appoints a lot of the the "different areas of the government." There are 6,722 people who work for the Executive Branch of the government. The president appoints about 1,200 of them, including Cabinet members, ambassadors and U.S. Attorneys.

Here's a typical example of a disaster occuring as a result of a shitty president being elected: http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2005/08/20050801.html

We never earn something on our own, we always build and improve upon others knowledge as well as on the environment (meaning all factors, race, social status geography etc.) that was provided by OTHERS. So all you 'do it on my own guys', get over yourself and accept that you are part of a larger fabric that makes up the human race.

Man, I hate property taxes. As long as there's a property tax on your home, you're just renting it. Stop making those property tax payments, and suddenly you're out on the street and they're selling their new house (which once you thought was yours) to cover the missing money.

I think Tennessee doesn't have a property tax. If I outlive my significant other, I was thinking about selling the house and moving to Tennessee, buying a little land to use as a base camp, then buying an RV and turning nomadic, live where the mood strikes me. Maybe drive by once every four years to cast a vote.

Most property taxes are local. Some how our income tax to the government doesn't trickle down to the states.

I guess that means the Democrats are right, "Trickle Down" Economics doesn't work. Lol.

Well then My rent every year amounts to about $120.00 a year. I'd say that's not too shabby. This includes State, county and city property taxes.

Thanks for the answer, chuck...sometimes moving isn't a viable option for a lot of folks.Although the government does try to tell us that the Canadian health care system is not as good as we've heard, I can't help but take the word of actual Canadians over my government.
i get it for free, but thats only because I got smart and moved to a real country.
