i am tempted to splash out on an HPS 1000W , im growing in UK summertime too but we all know the weather is shite !
in my room i have large window for in/out fans or even passive intake.
can we here in UK still grow indoors in summer ,i hear many say "no " but why ?
so, lights ...decide on 1000 or 2 x 600s .

can you advise what 10000 light kit to get , a link and cost maybe ..i should point out i want approx 16 plants in my 5x5 .......cheers !
You also might want to consider a 630 CMH or a DE 750.

If you're looking into getting a single light source.

I forgot to mention... 16 plants in a 5 x 5 means your planning short plants... 1000 watts will light the tent beautifully but two 600 watts give you a little more than 20 % more light. 1000 watts is necessary to penetrate the canopy and light lower branches on tall plants... Not really necessary on short plants... 600 watt HPS bulbs are a good deal cheaper than 1000 watt HPS bulbs. Maintenance costs factor into the economics...

And for the record im not saying LED is better or is not better than HPS im saying it is better in the consumption of power compared to out put. But i will say this LED is scientifically designed to put out the UV spectrum that plants need and thrive in. They work for me do the research and come up with your own opinion I would say if you are a small casual tent grower LED maybe a viable option due to the power consumption heat output and color spectrum
You better start reading LED nanometer light banding values...... By FAR the volume of LED panels that "say" they provide "UV".... Only provide UVA !!! They don't get near the UVB bandwidths!

I call BS on LED and UVB!!!!

List those that do so we can all see!
Heart attack pricing on cheezy banks anyway!

COB or nothing as far as LED goes.....

You can keep doing your diy to try and look like a boss. Or you could just tell the manufacturers they are shit, and they need to make a better light.
And fyi, I have a bunch of different lights. DE, CMH, DIY PCB, DIY COB, prebulit COBs, cheap blurples, and yes, I even have an SE 600.

Quit making assumptions about me.
