It could just be me being stupidly optomistic, but I think I'm starting to see alittle improvement. Hopefully this means they're responding to being flushed.

There is definately improvement in Esmerelda. She's got 3 or 4 branches that are standing up on their own now. Princess Consuela...she hasn't shown any signs of improvement yet. But, this'll be a gradual thing, she should turn around after a couple of days of the good stuff.

When I transplanted E into her hempy bucket I took 3 clones. 1 is looking good and has taken root...the other two, well its probally just a matter of time till they go.

I was thinking about take more clones from her. Would it be alright to take some from the healthy branches now, or should I wait for esmerelda to recover as a whole?

I would say let them recover and adjust before you provide anymore stress taking clones... and dont give up on your clones too soon, if you still see some green there is life, with my fist clone most of it went totally yellow but it rooted and is thriving

Wow, its been a few days. Ok so here's the deal. Plants weren't doing so well, I thought I was overwatering. I transplanted into Hempy Buckets. They got better...for about 2 or 3 days. They got worse again. I blame the perlite I was using, it had fertilizer in it and was throwing my ph way the fuck up. Earlier today I transplanted them into Horticulture grade perlite. Unfortunately while I was doing this I found several pits of this clear gelatin stuff mixed in with the roots. There's several theories about what it is. Some people think it's for moisture control, but I don't buy it. Another theory was that the plants have some kind of virus. I have a copy of the bible comming tomorrow, hopefully Jorge can tell me what's going on.

Well, that's pretty much it for up to a couple of hours ago. I've been thinking about flowering. With all that's been going on I think I want to go ahead with flowering before they die. Any thoughts on that?

i have no idea what the stuff would be on your roots unless it was something from your nutes or in the perlite, either way I would say give them a few days they will perk up then go ahead and start flowering hopefully they are girls.....

It def wasn't in the perlite. But, the bible will be here today, hopefully Jorge will be able to tell me what's up.

OK, so, things didn't go exactly as I wanted them to this grow. I lost lots of seedlings, I lost Moon Beam, Princess Consuela is still in there, but she's not looking so hot, and I found out today that Esmerelda is in fact a boy. So all that really leaves for this journal is PC. I'm going to start her flowering tomorrow and hope for the best.

The Future however looks good. I went and picked up a waterfarm today. For those of you who don't know what that is...WaterFarm, 10"x10"x15" - Worm's Way. I've got that sucker, I've got a bunch more bag seed that I picked up from a friend, and I've got alot more knowledge than when I first started. I see the future and I like what I sees. Things will be better the next time around. And hey, this grow wasn't a total wash, PC is still going and she's got a 75% chance of being female...so who knows. I will update this journal if anything happens with her. But I digress, I was talking about the future. Tonight I have started some new seeds. In about 2 weeks I will be starting a new Journal. The main pourpose of this new journal will be to compare plants grown in Hempy buckets and the plant I grow in my waterfarm. I'll be posting a link once it's up. Please tune in.

Some hard learned advice for when you setup your waterfarm. I had to constantly lower the ph in the bucket, I figured out it was from the clay pebbles. They are at a ph of 7 and will try to bring the nute solution back to 7. Pre soak the rocks in a PH 5 solution for 24 hours. That should keep things stable. Im soaking mine now for clones that are ready to come out of the Daisy Cloner.

Its been a while since I've last updated, but its not like theres anyone to complain about it. My first grow has ended. It involved a whole bunch of plants, but at then end it came down to just 3. Esmerelda, Princess Consueal, and Esmerelda's unnamed clone. Esmerelda turned out to be a boy, I'm really not suprised considering all the shit she's gone through. Esmerelda and his clone were disposed of. Princess Consuela...Died.

I really really suck at this. But, that's never stopped me from trying before. Right now I have another seed going, well, I have 2 going but I don't think you guys care about the zucchini I'm trying to grow. They sprouted the other day so there's not much to report just yet. I'll be creating a new grow journal once they hit 2 weeks.
