Right now they're under 3-5 cfls each. But in about 12 hrs UPS should be dropping off my 24" light hood. I'm very excited.

I was looking at those for my growspace, did you get the warm and the cool bulbs??? if you dont mind can you post a pic of the setup when you get it, I am finishing a cfl grow right now, and I was thinking of getting a 2ft t5 set up for the next grow, I will stay tuned to see how it works

It came with a set of 6500Ks and I ordered an extra set of 3000Ks. As soon as it shows up I'll be setting it up. I'll post pics.

My lights are here! I'm working on setting it all up now, everything looks good. Only thing is, they left out my 3000K bulbs. No worries though, I don't start flowering for a few more weeks and I already called and they said they'd send them out today. I'll have pics up later tonight!

Things tend to go alot better when I have a machine do it for me, so a cloner is a must.

Dont' worry about it, I am the exact same way. I want to let it run for 24 hrs then I'll go and answer questions about it.

I'd say the lighting is fairly on par with CFLs in alot of respects. Brightness is what I'd expect from a 55watt CFL, one big advantages it has over CFLs however is the reflector.
The amount of plants underneath it...Right now I have 2. They're both in 10" pots so 10"+10"=not enough room for another plant. My next trip to they hydo shop will have me picking up grow bags. They're only 6.5", I'll be able to fit 3-4 plants under it that way. I'm sure there's only a certain amount of plants that I'm supposed to have under that many wattage, but I don't know off hand.
The heat it's giving off, again on par with CFLs. However, This hood is replacing alot of my CFLs I had 12 23Watt CFLs going yesterday, today I have the hood and 4 CFLs. Same heat per bulb, but alot less bulbs.

Ok, so here's how I see things shaping up over the next few weeks:
On the 25th I'm going down to NY to see family and friends. On this trip I plan on buying these:
Homebox XS, 23.5"x23.5"x47.25" - Worm's Way

Hydroton, 8/16 mm, 10 L - Worm's Way
Sunleaves Black and White Poly Grow Bags, 3 gal Bags, 10 - Worm's Way

and a bag of FoxFarm Soil. I don't know which specifically though, I'm trying to decide between Ocean Forest and Light Warrior.
A few days after I get about Esmerelda turns 2 Months. I plan on celebrating by cutting off a couple of branches and starting some clones, one for sexxing, the rest for the future. Less than a week later Princess Consuela turns 2 months, I plan on celebrating in the exact same way.
Anyone have anythoughts on my plans?

That's something I keep going back and forth on. I'm probally gonna wind up just going ahead and flowering the two of them and just have some clones for the next harvest. Then I'll keep on of the clones (2 if both of them are female) as a mother and try that out for a bit. See which method I like best and go from there.
