is it a good deal

You getting timer, spare bulbs and everything?
Then why not....... watch the Ebay listing, to see what price it finally goes for, and even if you decide not to use it, you can always resell.
 
I don't know what kind of warranty customer service does this company have, cheap gear is usually just that cheap.
 
ill put some pics up when i set it up think im just gonna run it in its own tent gonna do a 12/12 from clone
 
Ah...stepping up from the dresser aye....I hear ya....I'm stuck on cfls....I really do think there's something special abt their spectr.um..I've done my research on hids...yes more convineint n powerful...but I'm not sure they grow better plants...excited to see the diff in ur grows from cfl to hid....whats up w ur other plant?

I used an Apollo bulb for a grow...Compared to an HTG Supply bulb, it kicked ass. Used it on a 800w grow side by side with the HTG bulb, the Apollo bulb produced larger, denser nugs...though, that is most likely because it was newer than the HTG bulb. Suffice to say, the 400w apollo hps bulb did the trick, and grew some nice nugs regardless of the comparison.
 
Now I'm trying out an Iwasaki and an Optilume side by side, and both these bulbs were brand new. Iwasaki is the company that makes Eye Hortilux bulbs, but I'm pretty sure this is one of their standard bulbs.

i chopped it about 2 weeks ago lil over 2 1/2 ozs dry it curing right now so i did good both 2gether got about 6ozs not bad for 400 watts worth of cfl cant wait to see what i can get with my 600 and the 400
