Javadog's Next Adventure

It is like having a finger grow out of your forearm.

...fingers belong at "the end"...so do such branches.

I will keep an eye on it.

I had a plant that randomly popped an extra branch in the middle of 2 other node sets. It didn't grow the usual fan leaf to go with it, but started growing leaves of its own.

Also... I would love to make a frenchy cannoli! I havn't got around to buying bags yet though. I've been making qwiso for the last year or so, and its just so easy and delicious, I can't bring my self to fight with 5 gallon bucks of water and wet trim.

I will post photos as it grows out.

I stashed my bubble bags away and now need to figure out where!

Ah well.

P.S. I AM REALLY LIKING EVERYTHING....YOU JUST CANT TELL :0)

This one may intrigue you somewhat....

I was checking my Deep Psychosis for pre-flowers
and I saw something growing where it just should not be.

It is a small growth which I wondered might be a flower,
but a closer look makes me think new leaf/branch.

What is weird is that is is popping out of the dead center
of an existing branch.

Here is a wide shot, with the branch in question circled:

Looks like a calyx to me!

We will see. This dankonoma-growth is on the main branch
after the split from the first top and so it will not be trimmed
or taken for a clone by accident.

This plant was not clone and has not been sexed, and so I may
take a few lower branches to start rooting while I wait for it to
show sex.

The Lemon Thai Kush has gone from flush, to plain water, and
is now on nothing at all until the chop. It will likely be at the end
of Week 10, in about two days.

This new slot will be taken by Bubba Kush, from HSO.

I read up on this breed and found that it is known for having very
little stretch, and so I decided to leave it in the Veg Closet to grow
(the TGAs that went in, AOS and Apollo 13, were showing a much
more urgent need to get into the tent ;0).

The next plant to finish will be the DNA Sour Kosher. The question
of which plant will take it's place is very interesting.

I will post some photos and discuss this issue next.

Check out Bubba.

She is not perfectly shaped, but I have turned it in the closest
to benefit the side needing to catch up.

This will likely be flipped very soon.

Thanks Bass.

I also tied the odd little tree that is my Sour Cherry #2
down for the first time.

This plant kinda snuck up on me in Veg, and it ended up
a tad taller than I wanted, so she has something of a trunk:

Here is her initial tie-down:

I do not think that I will go for more tops, but it is hard to
tell this far out.

Oh, I love them, but I am "height paranoid".

I am finding that the pheno of Sour Cherry that I have
in the tent right now ("SC #1" for me) is not stretching all
that much.

So, perhaps I should not be worrying about this, SC #2.

...but when a breed is new to me, I worry about potentially
losing control of the stretch.

SC #1 is really a lovely plant, with a size, shape, and flowers
that make me think of a little rose bush.

Take care,

JD

Good morning all.

Here is the Sour Cherry:

I think that I will just leave this plant where it is, as it seems
to have formed into the corner very well. The Cheese Surprise
is in the next corner and is behaving similarly.

Here is my Dog:

I am enjoying what seems to be very little stretch with my pheno.

The Lemon Thai Kush can go at any time:

Have a great day all!

Good morning all.

Today, at 10 weeks exactly, I took down the LTK:

I have many more photos, but the uploader is still sucking wind.

Have a great day all!

P.S. Thank you both for stopping in too!

(fwiw, I simply could not edit that PS into my post above...
...I kept getting the "10 characters" error, where I was way
past that number)
