Well i guess the intake is too small, its 90 in there now. i could increase the size of the hole to 6 inches instead of three. Or maybe i will take the final pc fan and just leave the 250mm fan as exhaust and two holes as intakes.

Nothing but "mash" left. (Jamaican term for leftover material that isn't bud). Ill dry the leaves and trimmings to make hash, I air out the mixture several times a day and they are drying nicely. once dry i will make bubble hash out of the trimmings.

curing does bring some taste into the weed, but i have only stored this sample for two days. I will give an official smoke report once everything is properly cured and dried. wouldn't wanna give a strain a bad name simply because i shortcutted the ending.

it's all good. nothing to be sorry about.. I forced myself to finish the harvest and unplug everything. I have plenty of time to work on the heat issues now. Everything is drying quite well. I appreciate every suggestion. It's a head scratch-er for sure. I've had this problem for a couple months now, nothing new to get upset over.

im gonna work on the veg box as soon as new bean is out, cut, and done drying because i wanna use it for some clones this time maybe. still thinking about moving those fans to the roof of the box.

If you can I would try the bigger 6" hole but thats just me. btw my temp just got up to 88 but it was 82 in the room. Looking forward to hearing the final cured, smoke report!
I just noticed my 2 outdoor plants 2 weeks old from sprout, have insect problems.. There was a snail in one and the other looks like it has that type of maggot the lives inside the leaf, I forgot what its called. So I'm kinda bummed to say the least.. I don't know what I was thinking starting those off outdoors..

Nice work man. Glad to see you made it all the way through with that cab. I'm using the same one and just started my beans 5 days ago so this gives me real hope. Enjoy the fruits of your labor my friend

Thank you very much, I'm excited by being able to finish up a grow in my first attempt at a cabinet. Put your journal or thread up and i will sub for it. I wish you the best of luck on this grow, may you harvest be plenty.

Feels empty without my girl to look in on, Oh sure im busy with drying and curing but its just not the same. I cannot wait to get started again. on the to do list is retape some areas and install ir blocker on the roof of the cabinet.

As i've said i'm changing to more light actually by going with six 23 watt, i cannot wait to see the results. I am hoping it all will run cooler than the large 42 watt im using now. I have extra sockets to increase light if need be by using the clip on lights as under lighting. they are 60 watt max sockets and will do fine for what i need.

As we all know, i have a heating and cooling problem in my cabinet. I have to keep the stealth up so i cant install fans or open holes in the top of the cabinet. has to be the back which i know limits me. I know the reflector i had was holding heat, and directing it to the plants. The idea of the fans just mixing the hot air makes sense so i will do a round of tests with no fans for intake and just one huge exhaust fan. that would give me two passive intakes.

about curing again. Now that the main cola has been in an air tight container, the moisture sure enough is coming out. I have been airing out the jar for a few minutes several times a day. The smell is nice, but now that half is still dry so i flipped the buds around and removed some huge stems.

Once they are all moist again, i have got to figure a way out to dry the buds. Jorge Cervantes book (page 91) medical bible says to put them in and i quote a "brown paper bag till they are dry again" his solution to over dried weed is a citrus peel!

there has to be a better way than a paper bag, i do not want to lose any taste or smell if i can help it. and i certainly do not want the smell or taste of oranges, i want to taste the bud. Any advice?

you could use a shoebox, but they need to dry out, that big bud will take a while. my buddy who grow 20 to 24 plants ebb & flow style in a 12 x 10 room would do the paper bag thing and no jars, worked great for him. that shit was killer!!

ck out the new plants, comparison pics to old and new bean, what do think?

Hmm so paper bags are not evil as i have heard. I have a cardboard box i can put them in. I cut away the buds from the main stem to save some time on trying. I believe the buds will be moist enough to go into a box or bag end of this week. they do not feel ultra wet but just moist.

heres how i am doing it, i hang them until they are nice and dry about a week, then i trim them into manageable sizes and place them into a jar. I wait for them to become moist again for about a week, Then i plan to box/bag them for a week. then back to the jars for one last round. Hopefully that will be enough.

does this sound like too much?

I checked the box today and the buds were dry so i put them back in to a jar since the stems are still folding. I will repeat this until they snap.
