If you jar it wet and leave it unattended to long, you are right, if you pay attention to it and jar it till it wets up, take it out let it crisp on the outside, jar it till wet, take it out let crisp (rinse and repeat) it will actually remove more chlorophyll faster giving you much smoother smoke. Tis the 2 processes in tandem that give the best cure, it is why we use the jars in the first place.

there truly is a difference between teaching and arguing :)
I find this to be false. If you jar it early it will be very difficult to get the funk Smell and harsh out of it. Also if you chop the nug with your scissors you'll find its not evenly dried no matter how many times you burp your jars . To each there own with an opinion . it is a lot easier to fuck it up from under drying than going an extra day.

A good trick... Take it off the rack cut off the stems and put in a paper bag for 1 hour. Crinkle up paper bag so no air getting in or going out. 1 hour later it will send the excess moisture if too much out of the plant. Then open the bag ,
If it feels good then you can go right into the jar

So... From everything I've researched, and what I'm hearing, is that it doesn't matter when u jar, just as long as it gets fresh o2 and doesn't mold, the slower it dries the better, regardless if its hanging or in a jar. But it should take 1 to 2 weeks to dry hanging for best results.

I put some of mine in jars earlier than that be cause they were drying too fast, but the girls I have hanging right now are doing fantastic.

I also have been hearing that a slow hang dry is more important than the cure.

This is really only my 4th time trying this. Its just that last time I had about 50 plants going at once in my spare bedroom in Ohio.

I appreciate all the feedback and lack of name calling. It all means a lot. And remember, it is always OK to disagree.

If you dry right there is no need to cure it cures itself. I go 6 days on the rack @70 degrees 50 percent humidity . Straight into turkey bags to sweat. 3 days in turkeys, in mason jars and or out the door . Try different methods . If any of your weed smells like grass or doesn't burn even you know that you messed up and it won't store long.

All harvested. The white widow and special queen are the very best so far. Excited to taste the others. The white widow is so potent it's crazy. Smells pretty fruity too.

The clones from my first try lived, but I threw them out and took clones of my next gen before right before I switched them to 12/12. So here is my new cloner with my 2nd try ever with clones. And my next gen girls on their 2nd day flowering.

Ok, so I went ahead and jarred them sooner, to help slow the drying process. I'm just going to check on them more often that I would if they slow dried in the closet. The temp's are 60 to 75 and humidity is 45 to 60, throughout the day. I just hear that if they dry too quick you get less potent weed, and if I check often enough I can hopefully keep them from molding.

If they are still dry after a few days in the jar, is it wise or unwise to put an open baggy with a small slice of lemon or orange on the top of the curing cannabis? Or is that a silly idea?
nice grow well done ,, as for drying you its good practice to slow dry this means colder areas 60- 65 deg C, with RH anywhere from 55- 65 with good air movement to low of RH will cause buds to dry to quickly , With that said if trimming with screens its a good idea to keep bud size together meaning small buds together bigger buds to together as size will also dictate drying times
Normally your are looking at 4 - 5 days to get outter bud dried good practice is once you feel buds are dry round 5th day get a garbage bag and place all buds into it press out all air twist bag up and place in dark place air tight for 4 - 6 hrs sweating out the buds ..
What this does is force remaining water / fluid in the buds outwards ,,
after that ....
Place back on screens for 12 - 24 hrs then bag em burping bags every day

I can definitely tell a difference in the smell of the buds that I jarred a little early, compared to those I jarred at the right time. But only for a week. It seems like the girls I jarred earlier took longer to sweat out that water than the others, which made it take a lot longer, but holy shit... the wait was definitely worth it because (excuse my petite self) it is fucking AMAZING. I wish we had something on our pc's to allow us to smell, because it smells so good. Honestly, it's the best cannabis i've ever seen or tasted.

A big thanks to everyone who has helped me through this, your time means a lot, and none of your advice has gone to waste. I'll post more pics in a couple weeks to show you the progress of my next gen girls and my clones.

Nice back to your LST i have done it for number of years and found the best way is to start couple weeks in allowing plant to grow up if you start to soon you end up with very low ceiling meaning soil to foilage ..
This can cause issues mold mildew..
also wasted pant growth meaning lower bud sites lack sufficient light Hence under canopy sucker bud a foilage removal
So planning is key on when to start
Here is a out door plant that i am allowing to grow up 2 - 3 feet but my goal this year is instead of growing a tree my goal is a carpet approx 150 - 200 sq Feet side ways 1 plant all around with no more height then 3 feet from ground and couple of plants that will be trees

Alright, here are some update pics. I saved 4 of my clones, so now I have 12 plants total in order to be legal, when I harvest my 8 in flower, ill flower the 4 clones, and take 6 cuttings to start a cycle of 6 always in veg and 6 always in flower. Check it out, I think I've done a great job.
