After wrestling with the tent this morning..
View attachment 4980976
Was able to raise the lights. Some plants were starting to get bleached tips with how close they were to the fixtures. Also, got 2 (of 4) drivers out of the tent.

Had at least one casualty..

Repaired with grafting tape..

Hoping the distance is enough til harvest.. If plants need more room, thinking either the bricks under pots will be removed or will try to figure another way to get fixtures higher.View attachment 4980975
Can you hook zip ties directly to the back of your fixtures supercrop if within first 3 weeks and take those bricks out as you said.

Very nice plants man and they say they can't handle those temps indoors without co2. Mine hardly gets over 77 to 79 with 1000 watts hps but I have in a 4x4 with 6 inch fan and air conditioning in room set on 68.

Good luck im on my 12th day flower

I strayed away from supercropping this round as the (sluggish) plants went from smaller pots to 1 gals and into flower within a couple days. Wanting to keep the stems healthy and avoid any moulds that could have been floating around the veg tent. I could use diluted bleach or Cleanse to disinfect them.. Plants were in stagnant conditions while I traveled for about 2 weeks.

I will pinch the branches though, which does about the same thang without creating too much stress or damage.

You've got an a/c in the room, hitting 79 in the tent.. sounds sweet for a 1000w setup, nice job man! I'll visit ur journal~
I'm using a passive setup in the garage exhausting outdoors, no a/c. The thing about having higher heat is managing humidity! In a hot/dry enviro, a good working humidifier(diy) is keyy. The ac infinity controller 69 greatly manages environment as well. Currently 83-85° in the tent keeping a ~1.0 kPa VPD range. :blsmoke:

Rainbow Belts pollinated tent is finishing up. Plan to cut and dry by next week. Had some mold issues on some of the flowers(foliar spray). A few seeds did not turn out to completion: light brown, no outter skin. Others turned out really great!

Veg tent groovin' along. Plants from tissue culture on the right including Tuscan Gelato, Grape Fog, Caffeine and Nimbus Snacks. TG is throwing out some stanky stem rubs and big fans leaves :weed:

Memory escaped the transition of age.
Too long ago, yet present each passing day.
Words collapse to explain in detail, but
This dance continues, in a way, away.

Where will we be in 7 more years?
Free to roam hills, fly sky high, swim the sea??
Sand castles built & washed away again,
Yet alive, communicating past with present!

Oh, how many lifetimes does it take to remember? Have we already forgotten??
True. Memory escapes me at the moment..
However fickle, continues the experience.

Day 37
Original plan was to bring the second net down for support but have altered to a general relative solution of tying colas instead.

Greetings~

Seed tent is getting along, up to 2x daily waterings. Expecting to water multiple times daily. Thinking I'll transplant and possibly setup the blumat carrots after pollen drops and donor is removed.
20231002_081715.jpg
Pollination advice: start reversed clones(father plant) a week or two before females to get a jumpstart on the pollen. After starting these last two cycle's clones at the same time and now reversing a Sativa clone, can now see why the advice is given. Delayed pollination with less developed seeds.

Veg tent(now f3) is also coming along. Using Jack's + MOAB along with natural inputs top dressed in coco for both seed and f3 tents. An egg crate ceiling panel was setup on the floor of tent to raise pots.

In-between using bamboo stakes or setting up a trellis for support.. currently removing pots and hand feeding over a bucket and plant riser, works well with bamboo stakes. Installing a trellis would have concerns about runoff... Maybe using a small container placed under plants while watering to capture runoff. Orr, just water at a lower ec so buildup is not a problem.. think I'll just use bamboo stakes.

Found some fungus among us :bigjoint:

May you have a beautiful, productive week!

Greetings~

2*2
Day 28: SLH was, I thought, a successful reversal as it was full of pollen sacs. After plucking and drying mature sacs, come to find out there's no pollen! So chucked the SLH and dusted plants with LCG pollen from a few months back. It's okay, LCG was a great plant and will look forward to having crosses with it's progeny.

2*4
Day 20: Decided to go with a trellis net inside the veg tent. Sticking with a lower EC feed without (/minimal) runoff. Removed hypochlorous acid from feed and added BTi to help with fungus gnats. Def getting some damage from gnats, should be managed in a few days.

5*5
Day 53(pics): Getting closer to harvest, was shooting for a 63 day harvest. Using generative irrigation events (large drybacks) to steer the plants into a quicker finish, we shall see.

Awesome Journal and project k0rps! Please let us know how the croptech bloom performs flavor wise!
I recently finished my test run with it in coco and in FFOF side by side. I fed at 3.0 ec 5.8ph with mr fulvic as the only supplement. LED Light ~1000ppfd I’m not sure if I fucked something else up but the flavor is bad. The buds smell like they normally do but the taste is crap. Croptech is insanely high in Phosphorous compared to any other nutrient blend I’ve tried, not sure if bad taste could be from that or too much iron in the fulvic supplement combining with high iron levels in croptech.

Last cycle in the 5*5 was not great, but not putting blame on the nutrients. Definitely noticed hplvd this round (98% sure w/o tests), so I'm making it a point to start over from seed and (possibly) pick up new clones.

I enjoyed the bud that was healthy and sticky, but other small resin buds I had just tossed. I'm not sure the plants were uptaking the (3ec) nutes like I had hoped, I don't have CO2 in the environment and light was about 60-75% max. Will definitely be using less nutes in the future with this setup. Wishing you better luck in future runs! Peace~
