Veg with 6500 K light either from florescent or MH. They'll give short bushy plants, add some 2700 K for flowering.Quick and simple question: How do I keep my plant short? It would be nice if it was under 2 feet, but 3 feet would be good too. Thanks.

thanks man, but what about the watering? and how close does the plant need to be to the light? I was told 3 inches, if I want the plant to be stubby
as close as you can get without over heating, all depends on your lights. a 23 watt cfl could be an inch away if air cooled with a fan., if I want the plant to be stubby
Watering ? won't make any difference, water when almost bone dry as usual.

If you want small plants why dont you start flowering early!
veg for 3 weeks or so!
