Ah right, that makes more sense now, boy for a minute I thought you meant 14 days since first hairy bits. It's just that I was reading in the cannabis grow bible on that same subject that professional seedbanks quote flowering times from first signs of flower approx 7 days after 12/12, so according to them you are only on 7 days and not 14 so that light is working out fucking great mate. WD Can't wait for my 2 x 500 watters to arrive, hopefully Friday

Subbed. Just subbed to dunit's journal as well. Evidently I've been bamboozled into thinking LED's were subpar to HID and I've since found otherwise. Great journal so far kush.

Yo can check out my LED grow too Encomium. I am using 1 300 watt Light House Hydroponic Light 1 watt Cree for the first time. I am only growing one Fire OG plant using the SCROG method. So far I am quite impressed with the results, my plant has grown very fast and it is very very green and healthy. I was skeptical about LEDs, but after doing your research you can find some great working lights. I always go for the most expensive lights thinking that they are the best, (ie the 345w penetrator pro) but I am realizing that paying more is not always best! I really like DUNITs magnum lights with their 11 spectrum and their price. I am happy with my light and Kushgrove's results with his Blackstar looks awesome (also Lighthouse Hydro light). Hi there just like to share a clone of Great white shark grown under the blackstar 240 veg model from day one through to day nine. Day one is the first day planted into a 1.5 gallon pot. I always grow in coco As you can see the mother is in the background and on day 8 if anyone is wondering the white dry spots are just sulphur spray as I thought I saw some sort of bug and I'm a bit paranoid ever since I lost a huge crop to spider mite. Anyway I am really happy with this light. Peace to all.

@Zman1080, yeah sorry about that, I didn't mean to hijack the thread, new to the forum stuff so dunno how to start one, but I am old at growing, I thought it would be OK to put this on here as Kush is a cool guy and I think we're on the same page, need to learn how to start a thread and do a full Led grow from start to finish in a couple of weeks

That's great Kush, can u imagine all the LED haters seeing this and eating their words, "yes you lot, all that from 135watts actual draw". That works out at about $10 for 9 weeks of flowering at 10 cents/Kwh. The girls are looking beautiful. Oh yes the white spots are just dried sulfur solution Kush.

Looking good Kush. Ive been looking into the 240w blackstar LED flower for awhile now and they seem to keep making improvements haha.
Anyways Max that looks like some powdery mildew.
Keep up the good work kush, your grow has been a good grow to see how the LEDs can work. I'm not needing an HID and I hate working with CFLs.

Oh deep joy, just picked up my 2 x 500watters from the post office today. I was doing a 600 watt HPS 3 weeks into flower but I'm gonna use these babies to finish it off, just in time too as the weather is really starting to heat up here in the Canary isles. Ooh the fun of it all, the walls are all pink color and I just cum in my pants ..........................................................Oh dear, that sounded really gay didn't it ?
