Lack of light

Ok so i'm going to have a problem. Tomorrow morning Im moving my grow area into my dorm. I need to take her out of my closet at home , pack her up and sneak her into my room and hide her in the closet till I come back in a few hours.

So pretty much my grow schedule is from 8am-2am. Im gonna get up around 10 or so and take her to my dorm room and hide her in the closet and after my mom and I move all my stuff back in the room like 3 hours later Ill be set. She'll be without lights from maybe 10 till maybe 1 or so. What should I do? Should I leave the lights off until 8 the next morning, not even turn on my lights tomorrow or should I set my lights up asap and get lights on her? Im trying to prevent shocking her as much as possible with the move and change in her lights

I would turn on the lights as soon as possible and keep them on until the next 2am comes around. You know a dorm room doesn't sound like a good place to grow. School and police are a double whammy if you get caught. Your mom's house might be embarrassing, but a dorm room sounds like double trouble.

i wouldn't worry about it. i've heard of a lot of people who take plants from veg to flower to find out the sex, then move it back to veg, so it can handle a change in light cycles pretty well, even if only short term. The only stress is a small stunt of growth, but it will snap back. Maybe a slight delay in the long run, but your plant won't keel over or anything.

Haha. Yeah I wouldn't mind growing in the closet in my room here at home but I have to go back to school and I cant take care of my plant. And she's already 5 weeks into veg. I know it's probably a bad idea and not too safe but Im taking precautions.
